The Big Chill at Eastnor Castle have announced the Mael bothers - better known as Sparks - as the headliners for main Open Air Stage on Saturday 5th August.

Incredibly - considering the number of years they've been around - this will be Sparks’ first outdoor festival. “Playing a festival will be a new experience for us but it is one we are looking forward to. It will be great to put on our show in this outdoor location and for an audience who may not have seen us play before.” said Russell Mael.

Their set will include a performance of their latest album 'Hello Young Lovers' in its entirety, with a six-piece band and projections, followed by a selection of their greatest hits from their 19 previous albums.

Other acts confirmed to play across the weekend includes Amadou & Mariam, Bellowhead, Francois K, Glenn Tilbrook & the Fluffers, José Gonzalez, Louise Rhodes, Martin Carthy, Nizlopi, Norman Jay, Shri (live), The Egg, The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain, Vashti Bunyan, X-Press 2, and many more - click here for full details to date.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £120 - click here to buy.
