Maximo Park is the latest act announced for the Isle of Wight Festival, which takes place from Friday 9th June until Sunday 11th June 2006 at Seaclose Park Newport, Isle of Wight.

They joins the acts already annouced:- The Prodigy, Placebo, Goldfrapp, The Rakes, and The Upper Room on the Friday, and Primal Scream, Editors, Dirty Pretty Things, The Kooks, and 747s all on the Satuday, and Lou Reed and Kubb so far confirmed for the Sunday. The Saturday and Sunday headliners are still to be announced, as well as more acts for the weekend.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £85 for the three days (under-12yrs £42.50), and £105 with camping (under-12yrs £52.50), with campervans an extra £60 (per vehicle). To buy, click here.
