More acts have been announced for the Isle of Wight Festival, which takes place from Friday 9th June until Sunday 11th June 2006 at Seaclose Park Newport, Isle of Wight.

New for the Saturday are Primal Scream, who'll play immediately before the headline band (who are still to be announced) that night. Also new on the Saturday are The Kooks, and the 747's, and these bands join Editors who were confirmed last week for the Saturday

Tickets are on sale, priced at £85 for the three days (under-12yrs £42.50), and £105 with camping (under-12yrs £52.50), with campervans an extra £60 (per vehicle). To buy, click here.

The other acts confirmed so far are The Prodigy, Placebo, Goldfrapp and The Rakes, who all play on the Friday. Many more acts will be announced over the coming weeks.
