Liverpool band The Black Velvets have been added to the Friday of the Isle of Wight Festival. They join the other bands already confirmed for that day, Faithless, Razorlight, Supergrass and Idlewild.

The Saturday has Morrissey and Roxy Music, while Sunday has a line-up of R.E.M., Snow Patrol, Embrace, The Magic Numbers, The Subways, and Caravan. More acts will be added over the coming weeks.
