Ambient Picnic date change

now 1st August

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Due to a bit of a cock-up and lack of communication within local bureaucracy, the Shalford Park site for the Ambient Picnic isn't available for the original planned date, and so it's now moved to Sunday 1st August.

Although initially annoyed at this error, having looked at other available dates and chosen 1st August the organisers are happy with the change as there's few other events that will impact on the Picnic.

The Ambient Picnic is one of the most popular annual Arts and Music festivals in the south of England attracting over 9,000 visitors. It runs from midday until 9pm.

With a number of stages with a range of musical styles showcasing local and national acts - last year included The Parkinsons, Reuben and Jesse James - as well as activities aimed at children and young people, this is a great FREE day out!
