David Bowie - just announced as the Sunday night headliner for next years Isle of Wight Rock Festival - was interviewed on Virgin Radio on Sunday evening. We didn't hear the interview ourselves, but we're told that, when speaking about the festival, he said something like "The Manics and Travis will also be playing won't they?"

The DJ - Ben Jones - didn't make any comment to this, but as Virgin Radio are to broadcast the Festival, they're very likely to be supportive of the organisers aims, including the release of information.

We think, that if the conversation took place in the manner we're told, then it's very likely that these two bands will be the headliners for the other two nights.
