  1. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'll be blowed if I can find the thread.

Where in the UK has the most success come ticket/re-sale day?  If indeed there is such a postcode lottery?

I'm sure we're all aware of that gang that always get tickets (and good for them), is it due to their IP address, their physical address or are the just blessed?

Anyway, answers please on a postcard of the back of a sealed envelope to:

I want to go to Glastonbury please

       I'll be good honest

I'll just sit at the back and not get in anyone's way*

  2. I lost all of my money, for some reason I'd decided not to use the lock-ups  The misses decide to explain at great length the mistakes I'd made and how I'd made them ... that made me feel MUCH better.

I headed up to the farm where the lost property was, leaving her indoors to enjoy Paloma Faith in the sunshine (it was 2010 so there was lots of that).  The farm we lovely, as we queued to report our losses the lovely volunteers came round with trays of sweets and glasses of squash (just sweets and squash ... no double meaning there), made us all feel that loosing stuff wasn't the end of the world.

After an hour or so I re-joined the trouble and strife and headed back to the tent for a refresher only to find my money where I'd hidden it the night before...!!

Next stop the lock-ups.  I need to listen to my wife more, she's very wise....<3

If a product doesn't work, a refund is due. Simple as that, really.

True, but it does work...as a page refresher.  Buyers were seeking an unfair advantage, See tickets negated that advantage.  It's commerce dude.

Still ask for a refund though...;-)

Failing the resale in April there is the mysterious (and frankly soul crushing) secret sale in May-ish time. If you're unfortunate in April and willing to sacrifice a few weeks to waiting for the secret sale I recommend downloading the Google Chrome extension called 'Distill Web Moniter' it's free and served me very well. If anyone does need help in April give me a shout on Twitter or something - cb4747 :-)

If no one else has taken up your very kind offer of help I'm after a couple.  I'll check nearer the time...;-)

I've already got my tickets sorted and considering helping others if I can. Did up the list as I thought it would help make it clearer who needed help and who's willing to help etc.

What Dave mentioned is a good idea. Pairing people on the list up as much as possible. Could do that once the list is sorted maybe. Also group them by post code or proximity to each other, as moheetoes said.

Sterling effort, I'm very impressed.  Thanks for stepping up to the task.

I've one question, I've added my details and my son's ... so it would be 2 tickets or none we'd need.  Is this an issue?

...and I've gone and made a spelling mistake...!!...jeez, I'm going back to bed...zzzz

  6. Girls washing their hair (yeah I know some blokes do too) at the sinks or taps. Just find it quite inconsiderate. I was waiting for over an hour last year to refil our water tank. It was fucking scorchio too.

  7. These guys both rock and roll ... seen them three times, last time at the O2 in Newcastle ... at one point during their set the loudest noise was the air-condition hum, so wrapped up in their performance were we, it's like we were all holding our breath waiting for them to explode.

  8. There's a lot of faffing about being talked about on this thread ... seriously guys it's not rocket surgery!

Get some vodka ... put some stuff in it ... that's it.

No need to put it in the dishwasher, no need to sterilise the bottles (unless it's with some vodka), no need for spells, incantations or any other "healing field" mumbo-jumbo (gawd bless their fairy hearts).

Any hard boiled sweet will completely dissolve in a couple of days and it will taste love-er-lee ... nom nom nom. Anything spongy, gooey, wobbly or squidgy will make the vodka likewise spongy, gooey, wobbly or squidgy. if this isn't your desired outcome don't use said ingredient.
