Hi,
Just a quick question for my peace of mind. Buying tickets from overseas for the first time tonight (i'm in new zealand so they go on sale 9pm here) Just checking that for me buying from overseas using a UK registered address i need to pay with a debit card? I think that is what the website says but i just wanted to make sure it didnt mean anybody buying from overseas needed to use a credit card? I just didnt want to get to payment page and get it wrong as i know i might only get 1 chance.
Thank you for any help you might have

It'll be Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher supporting

The shower queues are ok as long as you go very early or mid afternoon. I've been to Glasto 5 times and taken 2 showers, once about 6.30am and the other 3pm and didnt have to queue for too long. Walked past them lots of times at other times of the day and there has been some horrible queues

Surely having 2 or 3 browsers open wastes time by having to switch between them to refresh. My tactic is one browser, one tab and blast f5. No time wasting changing browsers.

Good tips here.
Here are a few from me:
- Co-ordinate and get friends in different houses to try and buy tickets. A joint effort over different locations. I really think this is the #1 plan and requires no technical know how.
- Using your phone and/or tablet as well as your PC is probably a good idea.
- If you're using Windows and Chrome, you can use this plugin to create multiple sessions.
- If you added glastonbury.seetickets.com to your hosts file last year then remove it. In Notepad open %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts to check.
Clever people, let me know if anything I've said is incorrect.

I have never had to use visa verification before when booking Glastonbury tickets. It hardly ever seems to come up on any site anymore

Wow depeche mode! Didn't see that one coming. Happy with them 3 names if it actually happened

The "All Day Breakfast" large blue tent between the farmhouse and the flushables. Dreadful food, special mention to probably the worst sausage I've ever eaten. Also the "HOG ROAST!" stall up there didn't seem to sell a single hog roast the whole week whenever I went up there.

We had our wristbands checked twice in the site itself. Once going from my tent to the toilet and again returning to my tent.
In the 6 years I have been its the first time that ever happened

Im intrigued by all this....anyone care to let slip the identity?

You should release the names once us people raise a certain amount of money in donations to your site.

I walked through the area on Thursday night by accident then avoided it for the rest of the festival. Loads of horrible pilled up groups and a horrible atmosphere.
Unfortunately this type of music attracts these people and they also give the nice, thoughtful people who also enjoy this music a bad name.
Personally I would like to see a smaller dance area but I guess the area draws all the horrible chavs away from the other areas which is fine by me

Kings of Leon park headliner.

Atoms Friday and Franz Sunday would make me a very happy chappy. Hopefully something leaks before we all set off

B&q trolleys are good, had mine. 3 years now and it still works a treat
-
Glastonbury are making a mistake by politely asking people not to bring them rather than banning them outright
-
Terrible idea, won't last 5 minutes

Bring a sled

Its bullshit, ill be taking mine on my trolley as always. They have absolutely no right whatsoever to confiscate beer off me!
I suspect like others have said its designed to scare people into bringing less alcohol with them. Or just a mistake on the email

Hi,
I understand that if you did have any you wouldn't want to go shouting about them on here but I was just wondering if anybody had any good short cuts close to the site?
The last couple of festivals whilst stuck in endless traffic jams we have kindly been told to go alternate ways by the locals which lead us straight to the site bypassing potentially hours of jams.
Obviously after a messy glasto and year gap all this knowledge has completely disappeared so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Haven't been on the coach since 2007 but we got ours at the services about 1 1/2 hours before we got there.
This might have changed since though

I saw roses at pukkelpop and it was one of the best gigs I have ever seen.
