Yeah Boxes of Wine , some brew dog cans and all your standard lagers , nothing in glass bottles obvs

Ive just got back from Download and whilst its a different crowd and the headliners stage setups are more elaborate there, it was refreshing having no flags in front of the stage and being able to see whats going on from wherever you want to be.
Sometimes at Glastonbury it can be hard to even see what is happening even on the screen because a flag is blocking a camera. I'm hoping this year there are less flags but worry that after the long break people will be giddy!

Correct, you can't take beer into the arena but there are threads on here about various ways to smuggle it in.
Beer tokens you have to queue up to pay for them, then queue again to get your drinks. I think its a way to stop light fingered bar staff, but its a serious hassle when you gasping for a drink. There are a few cash bars on site tho.

they have never allowed it, its a commercial festival and they want you to buy it inside. Its a pain but you have to accept it. most people sneak it in as you will see above in various ways!

Hey its my first year going to V, just heard that you cant cant take beer into the arena and you have to buy tokens for the bar, whats all that about?

Have I missed something!! Why are you not allowed to bring beer into the arena?

Yeah unfortunately I think the fairer they make it the harder it will be to get tickets
