  1. Looking forward to seeing him, been a huge fan since 1992 and actually met him in 97, signed some stuff for me, really nice guy. Havent seen him play live for a while now due to work commitments etc just hope he plays some smiths stuff along with a mix from vauxhall and I, your arsenal and bona drag, be a giggle to hear dagenham dave aswell.

  2. Got tickets and car park sticker today, but im taking a hire car to Glasto this year and wonder if there is any way I can get around not sticking it to the windscreen?!

Mates of mine can't get their stickers off the glass from past Glasto's so just wondering if there is a way around it so I dont annoy the hire car company when I dump the car back on their forecourt?

  3. I rang Seetickets today to clarify and as some of the posts above state, they are charging cards over a week long period, they will also send an email notification if payment fails, so there's nothing to worry about, just check your inbox daily until the money goes.

  4. Yeh exactly, this is what has made me a little bitter. Therefore it's not about being in a queue, and it's not a fair system. If See hadn't of allowed this I would have no problem and just accept I couldn't get a ticket, but when you know people have only had to press the back button to fill out the form again, it makes you a little angry at how the whole thing works. Ah well, re sale it is for me!

  5. the only thing i am annoyed about is the fact that some people have managed to get 20 tickets and others none...surely this isn't just down to luck/being at the front of the queue? i don't understand how if i was in the queue at 9am and haven't managed to get 1 ticket and then someone else has got a ticket before and then rejoined the queue to get even more tickets after me makes sense. but hey, i'm kinda annoyed and sad about not getting a ticket atm so i apologise for the mini rant.

  6. For Glasto 2010 I had mine within 10 minutes, managed to get in the queue today at 8.52am only to be thrown out, an estimate 500 phonecall attempts and 1500 F5 refreshes later I am finally through in the queue on 2 connections only to be thrown out again despite not pressing f5 once! got through again at 12.45pm and managed to get them.

Sorry for those who couldnt get through, I felt your pain for 4 hours, seriously need to look at spreading sales over 3-4 agents instead of a million people hitting one site.

  7. For some reason, even tho we have the confirmation and the money has come out of my account, I cannot shake the paranoid fear of my tickets somehow getting "lost" in the machine so to speak.

Anyone ever hear of that happening?

I just dont wanna go thru all the gargantuan planning needed to get us to the other side of the world for this thing and end up stuck at the gate.

  8. Hit the button at 8.50, refreshed at 8.51 and it prompted me for reg number etc....all done by 9am, copied and pasted my debit card number as it prompted me for it 5 times and got sick of typing it in...system crashing out ...confirmation email at 9.20!

  9. i've been sent two confirmation emails with different order numbers. i definately didn't order twice though, and i can't afford £380 for the weekend. i've tried contacting seetickets but with no luck. this ever happened to anyone and do you reckon they'll let me cancel one of them?
  10. Rang ticketdisaster again tonight re the whereabouts of my 2 tickets for weston on saturday....

1 - couldnt give me a tracking number

2 - couldnt trace me on the courier website

3 - told me it was royal mail, then it wasnt, it was in fact the courier supposedly delivering them (see point number 2?!)

4 - couldnt tell me the exact date they were sent, just that they were printed august 3rd!

5 - didnt know the whereabouts of my tickets ????????

6 - couldnt speak to the "envelope stuffers" until tomorrow because they had gone home

7- advised me that they would call me tomorrow afternoon (how long does it take to ring the department next door at 9am?) with an update.

IF YOUVE NOT GOT YOURS, AND YOUR ORDER IS VIA TICKETMASTER, RING THEM, THEY ARE A SHOWER OF SHITE! AND IF YOU DONT, YOU PROBABLY WONT GET YOUR TICKETS/WRISTBANDS!

  11. Still waiting.....

Ordered in pre sale - the day after last years event ended....

    Weston Park - non camping.

Ive been to over 150 gigs spanning over 20 years and ive never waited this long for a ticket...

Ticketdisaster guaranteed me that they would be with me 4 days before the event starts so I make that tomorrow morning, if not, i'll do them for their booking fees and then do everything I can to blacken their already tarnished reputation! ha!

  12. Have just spoken to Ticketdisaster, Told me that the last batch of tickets will be dispatched today/tmmrw :D. The website has said tickets dispatched for the last 2days! and they said I'd have to phone back again to get a tracking no. even though they don't know which day they will be dispatched

This is the last time I'm going to use these muppets!

I'm off down the pub to chill

  13. Sorry to break the Chelmsford chain here but we've not received ours for Weston and we're not even camping.

    Good old Ticketdisaster.

Just in case anyone is not aware, the dispatched status is actually the date they were printed....but mines been showing as dispatched (printed) for over a week.

  14. SOLVED ;)

I had the latest firefox version running, decided to install I.E version 8 and give it one final try....within seconds the photo uploads and its job done.

So if anyone has similar trouble to me, its probably not your pic, its firefox and its weird lack of ability to not only upload images but to also give the odd problems when you want to save them too.

Thanks a lot to those above who offered help....got my confirmation email now so happy!

  15. Yeah I have disabled all security, firewall etc....even used a resize image program on the web so the size is 600 x 600 px - all its says is that it must be jpeg (which it is) that it must be under 1mb which it is, and it must be at least 135 px wide....erm...which it is! ;)

It's still not happening this morning - its been cropped so has no areas that are blank in the border....I think they will throw out bmp images as their only acceptable format is jpeg.

Whilst its fair to say this laptop isnt the best, I never have trouble uploading pics for stuff like ebay auctions etc....

  16. Im using firefox. Pic is portrait, cropped, around 100kb and the width is fine...

I just get a message pretty much instantly...it reads error uploading picture...it detects the filesize but says make sure its under 1mb and wider than 135px...

Ive tried 50 or so other images that I took at recent gigs(!) just to see if the problem exists with all of them, and sure enough, it does!

I submitted the basic form and I got a blank page that said response code "403" in the top corner which again appears to be a crock of shite! ive had no email confirmation etc...tried to upload my mates pic aswell with the same result. :P

  17. Anyone else having or had problems uploading pics to the glasto registration site? doesnt matter whether I do 10kb or 999kb - small or large images - it just doesnt work...

I tried the "basic" form and got an error when I submitted that aswell..

    :D:P
