  1. I got through to the booking page, entered details, got to card payments, entered those, clicked confirm.... nothing.

It kept hanging me for ages and then just throwing up a kind of error/not found page.  I was clicking back rather than refresh and entering card details again to try again, did this quite a few times and in the end it took me to a page that said I'd taken too long and tickets had been released, then it took me to the Sold Out page!  Gutted!

I'm not sure whether I could have done anything different - maybe instead of trying with card details again I should have opened up another browser and started F5ing like mad in that, I dunno!  Really frustrating.

To be honest this would be my 6th time & I've been on about working it for years, so maybe this is the kick up the bum I need to do so.  Going to start researching options tonight but my fella is a self employed teacher so any more time off than Thursday - Monday is tricky for him as we start losing too much money from it, so the voluntary option might be tricky for him.

    We'll see.

  2. Not sure if fucked or just an idiot, but spent a good few minutes of Muse looking on the floor with torches as a guy was in a right panic.  Seemed like he'd dropped something & I thought I'd felt something hit my foot and bounce off as it fell to the ground.

"I've lost my glasses!  I can't see without them!"

Got everyone involved around, his mate was saying to us don't bother, leave it etc, continue looking & then he finds them!!  We look up & the guy has found & is wearing said glasses without a speck of mud on them.  His SUNGLASSES.

  3. I've stayed at Worthy View twice, it went on sale at the same time as campervan tickets this time & usually all sells out pretty quickly apart from the scout tents which take a bit longer.

What I like about it is the short walk from the car, not having to actually drag a tent across site & pitch it, quicker access in & out of the car park (much appreciated on Monday morning when leaving site) & that it's a bit quieter as it's that bit further away.

Having said that, if you're booking because you want the luxury of having a shower, I wouldn't bother unless you're an early riser - queues were VERY long this year and one morning there was a half hour queue for the flushing toilets - I ended up going to the long drops by Strummerville on my way down as they were always spotless & no queue!
