  1. I think maybe the internet encourages people to think too much about it. Go, enjoy it, leave it behind, don't over analyse. This incessant production of message board content just means self-referential views are churned over and over again.

Maybe if you put Glastonbury to one side for maybe 10 months out of the year then you'd come to it a bit fresher and released of expecations and have more of a great time? Dunno.

I was a 90's kid there and I liked it then and I like it now. Drugs were still pretty much open as they ever where, its just the dealers are slightly harder to find. And I'm not sure how people can think jo bananas in the 90s was better than the badlands this year?!

Over-think your experience and it becomes a sort of a produced thought rather than a visceral in the moment happening.

  2. MASSIVE need for a path that goes across the top of the site from stone circle, park, along a bit, to the camp sites up at the top. It was a bit of a footbreaking stagger all around the park to get back to my tent! boo hoo!

  3. So let me understand.

Some people like them. Some people don't like them. Some people feel its ok to say 'i dont like fleet foxes' on the internet. Some people don't think it's ok to say 'i don't like fleet foxes' on the internet.

    Am I up to speed?

  4. So I can admire their technical skill, and like the album in an 'on in the background' type way, and even went to see them live.

But they just don't stir my soul. I find them weirdly unmoving considering the amount of emotion the lead singer puts into it live.

It feels a bit ersatz, as if its an exercise in trying to create a particular sound.

    But only opinions.
