I've been using the same registration since it kicked off, always wondered why they didn't make it a yearly thing. I don't look anything like my photo! But it's been good to me, so why change 🙃

In 2000 GFL were almost at war with Mendip council! I thought it was considered fairly well operated now. I guess a lot of people who traditionally ran things are getting old now... Change is a constant, as long as it's managed.

I once worked checking photos, busy Wednesday Gate B, there was no support whatsoever and a huge queue, so in they went. I do recall the fear on his face when I did the double take tho! Frankly, I doubt i'd have had it in me to be 'that guy'.

Thanks for the info on this thread 🙂 I'll take my tent down after PSB and stash it all in the lockups until returning for the earliest possible bus! I'll sleep back to the north. If it's not pouring with rain, obvs.

I I used the Etymotic earplugs for band practice and can recommend them for extreme volume, they do reduce and not ruin the sound! But might be a bit limiting unless you're in a real din.

I used to have one of these Cyclaire pumps which finally died on my last camping trip, everything else is over a fiver, so I was surprised to find this for £3 delivered! Bit bulky, but light and work well.

I like to bring mine along for the open mikes, it was fun playing the Oxfam mini pyramid by WG! Did busk on the railway track once, wouldn't recommend it!
Although, some shifty geezer was on the rob for it while I was waiting for the bus home. "Can I have a go?" "What you gonna play?" silence. Impure intentions! Otherwise it lived in the lockups.

Hi all!
I know there has always been a glass ban, obviously phone screens are made an exception but what about the glass tanks on vape pens? Anyone had any issues? It's basically a bottle so I can see it being objected to, but it's not a disposable object. Doing me a concern with the heightened checking, may have to resort to analogues if it's taken!

After the famous pyramid Funktion One disaster (not funktions fault!) of 07. Any views or insider information on the PA's in use this year?? I'd love a return of the far better systems. I'm tired of the swooshy line array setups, more research needed!

They tried a Funktion rig on the Pyramid in 07 i think, noise issues off the site brought complaints, sound turned down and it wasn't seen again
(Blamed on the weather at the time) Shame as it's so much better than the bog standard line arrays and the swooshing of the sound.Here is the blurb
