What a debate.
In terms of the OP's legal stand point. The T&C requiring the presence of the ticket is pretty water tight. Buying a ticket means you are entering into a contract of services with Glasto/See Tickets. The event is private and you buying a ticket means you agree with these conditions of the contract.
This clause would be considered not "unreasonable" and follows thousands of contracts of this type.
It's a shitter for the OP but they have the legal right to refuse entry.
Sympathise with your troubles but glad you got in, slippery bugger

Solution: don't camp at the bottom of Pennards.
2005 weather > 2007 weather.
You're going to have at least 2 days of perfect weather. Better than nothing.

It's part of the circus/Theatre stuff in an area called Glebe land, if that helps. Only know cos I had to look it up for the Futureheads special guest slot

You know what I'm thinking. Wimbledon's done it...... Giant retractable roof!
What a dream
I'll start on the designs. I'm thinkin giant poke ball meets Thunderdome (less Tina Turner).

Does anyone know the deal with the Queen's Head stage? really wanna see Maximo Park and We Have Band on thursday but I heard that the QH is limited to the first 1500 people. Don't know if I can be assed to get there soo early to get entrance. I'd imagine with little else on that early it will be a squash fest

As part of my "Glastonbury Acts Only" playlist I am keeping to till the festival, I was just listening to Rosalita by The Boss. Great while walking in the sunshine, can't wait for it live!

I always camp near the pyramid stage, so the park is a right mission to walk to. especially for a rumour. Although for Muse I might just go for it

I think just a variety would be cool. I like to camp near the pyramid stage and it's pretty difficult to block out.
maybe a audio book by Stephen fry would be quite nice

What music does everyone wanna hear being used to test the pyramid stage sound system?
Can't be worse than '05 when they used the same James Blunt song for 2 DAYS. Sheer Torture !

In '05 I remember seeing a naked woman next to a caravan vigourously washing her bits over a bowl... about a metre away from the main path! That was day 1 of my first Glasto. what a welcome

Galsto always had a tradition of cheesy acts on the pyramid. I for one quite fancy a mass sing along to "rockin all over the world" with the sun shining (hopefully).
There's plenty of other stuff for sophisticates to keep themselves busy with

Gotta park the car this year so a bit worried. not looking forward to the hassle really cos usually get my dad to drop me at the gates just before 8 and stroll in all casual like.
can't really remember how quickly the fileds get filled up with tents. When your sat by your erected (he he) tent with a can of cider by 8.15am the problems of other pitch finders tend to drift away.
I have noticed however that while noone would ever consider a 4 ft by 4 ft bit of waterlogged dirt at 9am by 8pm that evening it becomes PRIME real estate Nothing quite like waking up on day 2 to find someone has pitched their tent right between you and your mate gotta watch the distance guys and not be greddy.
"I'd watch them just for THAT song..."

Sunday Bloody Sunday... really encapsulates all the frustration of a sunday. You wake up in the morning and you got to read all the sunday papers. the kids are running about, you got toa wash the car and mow the lawn and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday"
