got an experimental brew of jelly baby and ginger root vodka on the go. Just using the red and green ones though (gotta keep it classy).

Might be to do with the increase in popularity of drones. I'm sure a lot of people will be eager to get shots of the vast fields of tents and crowds.

Not a lot of love here for Daft Punk. I personally loved RAM and I'd would be surprised if they didn't tour with their next album.

Great shot! it's hard to capture an image that does that incredible view justice.
On a side note my dad has shot interactive panoramic images for Arcadia in the past. Check them out... http://panoramaphotographer.com

i've always avoided Crystal Fighters because i always got them mixed up with Crystal Antlers who i think are shit. what a silly mistake! they fit nicely into my Friday schedule so i think i may pop along to see them. seem like great fun

Crystal Fighters exist for dancing. 5pm Friday John Peel.
Get your cod Spanish accents ready!

A big splash of water over my face/head each morning (more to wake myself up than anything) and wet wipes every now and then. Never felt the need for a proper shower.

Boys Noize
2 Many DJs
DJ Shadow
Not basing this on a whole lot

Got a "4 man" double skinned Quecha popup which has seen a fair few festivals and last weekend some ridiculous rainfall at Sunrise Celebration and stayed bone dry. Not sure of the price though, picked it up abandoned at Bestival last year.

It seems a shame if there really aren't any alleyways to explore this year. In 09,10, and 11 it was so much fun wandering around the winding corridors not knowing what to expect around the next corner.
I'll reserve judgement until the festival though.

Definitely gonna try and make it to Mr Scruff, TEED and Disclosure.
Really excited about Arcadia's new field, as last year kicking off just after the headliners finished as well as being a stones throw from the Other stage made it way too packed. Plus this gives them a lot more room for their cool sideshows and installations.
My money is on Boys Noize as the friday Special Guest.

Found this great stuff at Lidl thats basically Iced tea granules. They weigh virtually nothing and you just add them to water to get a berry iced tea drink that makes a good mixer. You can also add them to straight vodka to make an instant vodka infusion.
-
They have stated that this year they are going back to focusing more on the alleyways and micro venues. They also mentioned there would be no more queuing for venues like there was last year. Hopefully this year will be a return to form.

Brought a horrible single skinned tiny pop up tent last year and the dew came through it every morning so I gave it to a friend on the monday and picked up an abandoned 2 man dome tent for myself.
A few months later I went to Bestival and the 2 man disintegrated on the sunday night, luckily my neighbours (who didn't seem to be up to the whole camping thing) abandoned a really nice, brand new 2 man Quecha popup which seems perfect. Think I'm done upgrading now.

indeed... you missed Portishead!
This. Best set I have ever seen at Glasto.
Would love to see Chic again, so much fun at Bestival last year.

No Yeah Yeah Yeahs then?
I've never worked at Glasto, always felt a bit pushed for time as it is. I work at a folk festival every year, and did four 8 hour shifts at Bestival a few years ago and the time really does fly when you keep chatting to the people around you.

Can't remember off the top of my head how flat the Tipi Village area is, but could that possibly get shifted to make a space for Arcadia?
Anyone trying from the US?

I’m working in New Zealand at the moment and only caught a glimpse of the holding page. Luckily one one my group back in the U.K. had more luck for us. Seemed extra brutal this year.
