  1. i've always avoided Crystal Fighters because i always got them mixed up with Crystal Antlers who i think are shit. what a silly mistake! they fit nicely into my Friday schedule so i think i may pop along to see them. seem like great fun

  2. Got a "4 man" double skinned Quecha popup which has seen a fair few festivals and last weekend some ridiculous rainfall at Sunrise Celebration and stayed bone dry. Not sure of the price though, picked it up abandoned at Bestival last year.

  3. It seems a shame if there really aren't any alleyways to explore this year. In 09,10, and 11 it was so much fun wandering around the winding corridors not knowing what to expect around the next corner.

I'll reserve judgement until the festival though.

  4. Definitely gonna try and make it to Mr Scruff, TEED and Disclosure.

Really excited about Arcadia's new field, as last year kicking off just after the headliners finished as well as being a stones throw from the Other stage made it way too packed. Plus this gives them a lot more room for their cool sideshows and installations.

My money is on Boys Noize as the friday Special Guest.

  5. Found this great stuff at Lidl thats basically Iced tea granules. They weigh virtually nothing and you just add them to water to get a berry iced tea drink that makes a good mixer. You can also add them to straight vodka to make an instant vodka infusion.

  6. Brought a horrible single skinned tiny pop up tent last year and the dew came through it every morning so I gave it to a friend on the monday and picked up an abandoned 2 man dome tent for myself.

A few months later I went to Bestival and the 2 man disintegrated on the sunday night, luckily my neighbours (who didn't seem to be up to the whole camping thing) abandoned a really nice, brand new 2 man Quecha popup which seems perfect. Think I'm done upgrading now.

  7. No Yeah Yeah Yeahs then? ;)

I've never worked at Glasto, always felt a bit pushed for time as it is. I work at a folk festival every year, and did four 8 hour shifts at Bestival a few years ago and the time really does fly when you keep chatting to the people around you.
