  1. Oh dear. Not sure what was going on there, but Rodriguez was clearly the worse for wear when he stepped out on to the Park Stage (helped by two assistants - was one his daughter?), and drinking between almost every song only made matters worse.

His own songs were OK, but the covers - Lucille and Unchained Melody - were a bit of a shambles.

I just watched some of it again on the BBC website, and the coverage fades out before the bit where he asked if anyone in the audience could give him a drink and he'd do two more songs, when in fact his time had already run out. All a bit sad.

  2. they were on a level with The Beatles (chart-wise) for a year or two. The fact that Green's version has become overshadowed by the Nicks/Buckingham version makes no difference to how good, and how popular they were before. Ask any half decent guitarist (BB King, Carlos Santana for starters) how they rate Peter Green.

Does sales contribute to legendary status? I suppose for some it does.... for me, it's irrelevant

  3. I’m sure all rich people would like to end all suffering but just like bono they don’t want to do it with THEIR money so let normal people who can’t afford to opt out of paying tax fund his crusade so he can go on an ego trip lecturing people and boring politicians who are only interested in making themselves more popular by talking to a rock star and then he can save his own money for getting hats sent to him at £1000 a go.

He’s made some good music but he's still a t##t

  4. Ian Dury - Bilericay Dickie

Watched Sex And Drugs & Rock N'Roll the other night - wasn't too impressed with it but Serkis was great.

  5. dont judge the art by the artist if his muisc is good enough he deserve's a slot atleast you know at glasto he is never going to be overpaid like he might do at other festivals.

  6. great!!! worst concert I have ever been to was Dylan he literally goes on stage every night and massacres his back catalogue and sure there will be people who would see him just so they could say they have seen a once great artist live, just put on a DVD of a time when he was actually good and leave glasto to good live acts... :P
