  1. I am trying to follow the gist of all this long thread.

My twitter is @DonnaBean can you add me to whatever it is that will help me get tickets while i read back?

Also - although there were 2 secret sales in may last time, will there still be a Spring re-sale some time in April?

I am on holiday from the 14th so hoping it will be early April?

    many thanks

  2. I think she will really enjoy it and she always has a good rapport with the crowd so with a bit of sunshine and a bit of audience participation it's going to be marvelous.

  3. I thought Dolly Parton's 'Funbags' were natural and that in fact she had had a breast reduction at one point?

I agree, it will be quite a miserable experience to see a field full of men in fake breasts but it's definitely going to happen isn't it.

  4. I'm really hoping we don't get a really wet year as i'm not sure how well our 3 wheel buggy will handle the mud if we're stuck with it all weekend .

Slightly off topic, but those of you who've taken a toddler before - any tips on keeping them entertained/under control/not losing them in a crowd? Our son will be nearly 18 months and i'm aware he may be more hard work than he was last year now he's walking and on the go! I'm hoping he will be mostly absorbed by everything going on around him, but he's not as willing to stay in one place as he was last year. I have visions of us chasing him around the fields all day!

    Edited: Typo

  5. A pushchair like the Quinny is absolutely useless at a very muddy Glastonbury. I took my son when he was six months old and my Quinny just got stuck. Luckily I had a wrap and was able to carry him in that.

Definitely do what AlanP says and get a bigger version, something like an Urban Detour or even better something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Out-About-Nipper-Stroller-Carnival/dp/B00DUTOQA8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1401442561&sr=8-7&keywords=three+wheel+all+terrain+jogger

  6. we have always used cycle trailers - we have two now that we have three boys. We find that the larger wheels don't seem to get clogged up in the mud and they are much easier to push uphill. They also double up as a great trolley for transporting camping gear to and from the car

  7. This will be the first time I will be camping in the campervan field. My sister and BIL will be taking their caravan and I will be in a tent behind it.

I'll have my toddler with me so the bell tent will be a lot easier for me in terms of space to live but will it annoy other people or be against the rules? Should I bring a smaller tent?

I read you get a 7x8 metre space for the campervan, my bell tent is 4x4.

This year's rules state "The Fire Officer will not allow ticket-holders to camp beside campervans or cars due to the risk of contiguous fire, but it is permitted to camp behind them."

Anyone ever used a BellTent in the campervan field?
