    No chance mate, it's the Sunday evening service back to London. it's so busy I can't even get 5 yards to the loo, let alone 6 carriages. Plus 1st class stinks

    And it's only classified if you sign or agree something, and you only do that if you're playing. I'm not playing Glasto and can tell you that I'm not because the organizers didn't request (or contractually demand) that I keep quiet about it.

    I think getting time off as a secondary school teacher is easier. My bro in law is a secondary school teacher and he's managed to wangle time off before, my girlfriend is a primary school teacher and she can never get the time off (she called in sick one year though).

    I really wouldn't let that be the deciding factor between whether you want to be a primary or secondary school teacher, i reckon how you would enjoy the remain 360 days of the year is a better measure to go by.

    I used to live directly opposite Sarah Harding. We used to have the paps sitting on my wall every day for hours on end. Pain in the arse. Never got any of the perks of having her or her girls round for "tea"

    They are considering having a special field outside of the fence with screens for the game which will be on the Saturday or Sunday (presuming we qualify).

    I don't know if anyone's mentioned it in this thread before, but according to someone in my Kentish Town local last night, the recently reopened Southampton Arms on Highgate Rd, NW5 is supposed to now have a huge selection of Ciders and Real Ales and is meant to be a really great pub with old fasioned handle glasses and lots of pig products and cheese. Which i think makes a change from the dive it used to be.

    I have yet to check it out myself but will be heading over there sometime soon

    fair play man - that was a proper early call.

    ive been very bust at work the last couple of days so have missed the confirmation so can i just say

    STEVIE WONDER FTW!!!!!

    i cannot tell you how excited i am about this. i doubted the eavis's ability to top the feel good factor that friday will have, but i think theyve just done it.

    U2 and Stevie - best glasto ever!! :P

    Yes I was convinced by someone who heard it from mother superior herself a while back.

    So unless things have fallen through Im not convinced mr wonder has fallen off the pyramid stage just yet.

    And yes- if a random were to ask emily 'have you got stevie wonder' would you say yes at this stage if you were her? Would you stay silent (which would just fuel speculation further) or would you deny it?

    chatted to my man in the know again and he's still convinced he's headlining saturday.

    the only 'evidence' that he's not is a tweet from emily to a punter when asked about stevie, she says no.

    do people really think that if they had Stevie that Emily would simply tweet it to any old bod when asked? :P

    Well I just tweeted Emily to ask her if they're getting Stevie Wonder and almost straight away she tweeted back plain refusing it it

    "god no! we love him though.."

    and another tweet when i said that was a shame... damn internet rumours

    "Sorry! It would be amazing if it were to happen, maybe one day.."

    Don't think it'll happen :P

    edit: She now appears to have deleted that last tweet...strange
