  1. Ive not been since 2009 and I did notice how much bigger the festival is now. Here is my good and could be improved from my view point:-

    Good/Brilliant:

    Line Up was brilliant.

Lots of creative stuff for kids to get involved with.

Portaloos were cleaner than expected, I'm sure the ones near Mothers Ruin smelled of vanilla!!!

Exiting, car park took 5 minutes (at 9:25am Sunday morning mind), stewards were very helpful at directing us out quickly.

Stewards were very helpful and great with the kids.

The pizza bar...wow these were so tasty.

The atmosphere, not once did I see/hear any bad vibs.

Lots of other activities, fire show, bonfire (not sure what had been set alight though).

    Could be improved:-

Lack of signs at the turnoff (luckily I had remembered from before)

Lack of water points or signed water points within arena.

More info on the website other than who is playing e.g. I didn't know there was a co-op shop on site although more expensive than off site it would've saved me time, space and energy lugging in my cool box filled with essentials for the weekend.

Bring back the kids snack bar, this was great for the little ones only wanting a cheese toasty or beans on toast and not a huge and expensive ostrich burger.

Toilets for family camping were too far away from each other, luckily we could use the ones at the entrance gate but not after midnight. I had purchased a Posh Loo ticket which was great for little one in the morning who can sit for a while but they should have been situated or at least another set within family camping.

I did noticed a lot more paying activities for kids, I liked that in 2009 there wasn't so much and more creative activities, I'm sure the only thing you had to pay for was the bouncy castles.

Where did the Heilan Field go?

Musically we saw Lucy Spraggan, The 1975 were amazing as expected, The Horrors, James, Alabama 3, Scooty and the SkyHooks and my fav Admiral Fallows.

Artists : John ??? Poet was witty, Mr Boom, Pyro Celtica were so exciting, don't think I've oohed and aahed so much at a fire display. Oh and caught the tail end of the girl doing acrobatics under the inflated balloon...wished we had managed to catch it all.

And what about the fireworks made me go all goosebumpy and a little sad that Bella was nearly over with, cant wait to come back next year.

  2. ticketmaster left a message on phone....they got it wrong (surprise surprise) and the tickets were despatched with delivery to be today...got home and hey presto and card from postie saying I can pick them up for sorting office in the morning...dont know how they managed to get here as the address is apparently all arsed up (wrong postcode) but I couldnt give a monkeys now, will feel even better once I have them in my hand........see ya all next week

  3. Im so pissed of with Ticketmaster...they have put wrong address on tickets (there fault) and I have just been on the phone for the forth time.....tickets have apparently not been printed...although 3 previous phone calls earlier told me they were out for delivery and they were printed in May but this was only the first batch and they have been waiting on more coming in!!!

They may not be able to change the address on my tickets before they do get printed...therefore I may not be going.......wat a complete and utter balls up!

For those who are still waiting I think there is a good chance you will get them!

    Keep you all posted!

  4. Not to worry anyone but I called ticketmaster today to check status of the tickets as online says they were out for delivery....apparently they messed up and are possibly going to re-send them to the Box Office at Bella, that is after they check the tracking on the delivery!

Does anyone know where about the box office is (this is my first time)? My car parking ticket is included within the tickets so I'm thinking how do I park to then go to the box office if I don't have a car parking ticket???

Trying not to worry anyone else but they also told me the tickets were sent out in May!

  5. As a newbie this year we were ready for the long queues and were then very surprised that we had no queing to get in. I collected my friends from Bristol airport and my sat nav took us down all the B roads....we turned a corner and were then directed left in the orange gate and we were parked...took us 50 minutes from the airport to parking ...guessing we were very lucky. That was Thursday morning at 9am we were sat outside our tent with a beer by 10am....just before the rain began...pheww

We left on Sunday night after Prodigy and were out of the car park by 2pm.

  6. I made lots last night:

1 packet of flavoured jelly (makes 1 pint)

    50ml of alcohol

lemondade or water to top up

Boil kettle...mix half pint of hot water with jelly.....stir until disccolved......mix in alcohol then add water/lemonade to 1 pint!

I bought some cherry b from co-op 4mini bottles was about £2.00 mixed with strawberry and very yummy!

So I have lime and whisky, blackcurrant and vodka, cherrry and strawberry and peach schnapps and orange.

  7. i got the standard tocco... any recommended seller?? i cant be sifting through all the sellers to only stumble on a bad'un.

how many did u buy?? ill be using mine constantly, for recording sets like i do @ concerts so dunno how many i need? i know mine takes like 4 hours to do a full charge!!! does last long tho for recording. i find its calls that drain tha battery.

  8. I bought a collapsible pet water bowl from Tescos for a £1 (ive seen more expensive ones in camping shops) ...that and a sponge and some eco soap works for me...Im lucky my hair lasts more that 5 days without a wash.

  9. Hi, Going to Belladrum for the first time this year and taking my son who is Diabetic and is Insuline dependant, his Insuline is in a little glass tube.

Does anyone know what i should do as i understand your not aloud any glass containers???

    Thankyou!

  10. You need loads more white paint than you do for colours because the white has go on quite thickly. I used the best part of a pot of white for my flag (to do the eyes, nose and lettering) and I hardly used any black. Depending on how bold your design is, you may need two or three pots of white. That said, a white-on-black sounds pretty neat so I think you should do it!
  11. Never noticed that before, blatently ripped it off the Glasto website.. utter laziness.

The website is usually rubbish to be fair, am sure it's the same people who do the Rockness one :P

Anyway... car park to campsite is just a field away so no need for long treks
