Walked into the site in 2007 and fell in love with the place, Can't imagine not going would rather cancel Xmas, I am like a kid in a sweet shop when I am there and I'm only 51!

in at 8.55 tickets 9.05 confirmation 9.10 worked well for me but from what I've seen elsewhere was very lucky

If you look at ariel photos of last year you can see it most definately wasnt packed in hospitality, there was a lot of unused ground, unlike the disabled area which was right next to it and where the entrance was obstructed for vehicles needing to go in to it by that stupid bloody green fence and everyone in disabled camping crammed together as close as possible.

I've stayed backstage a few times now and it's mostly people who are working from what I've seen, be that clean up crews, press and then assorted people on a jolly. Shortcut is great, bar is good, feel safer leaving things in the tent, cleaner lavs, and this year understand there will be showers. Camping backstage in new area will still give access to old backstage which will still be there but with larger beeb compound I think.

Neil Young - definately
Bruce Springsteen-possibly
Blur -definately

2007 was the year that I kept stumbling over secret gigs. Over the course of the weekend we saw
Bill Bailey (Cabaret - Sunday afternoon and Fire and Ice Stage ? - Sunday evening)
Joss Stone (Leftfield - one afternoon with only a couple of hundred people max)
Madness (Lost Vagueness - not very secret) and Hard-Fi played the same time in Leftfield.
Usually they are in the Q magazine in the morning
Is it right

I wish I'd first gone when I was 38, now 51 father of 3 and going for 5th year running I feckin love the place and bore the family to tears about it. My wife is going for the first year so I may have to behave, but I seriously doubt that I will. ONLY 54 DAYS UNTIL MY XMAS!!
