  1. Booking it up this week and not sure what way to go about it at all. Going Ryanair to Budapest on the 9th means missing the first day but nothing can be done about that. Problem tho is we get to Budapest at after 8 on the Thursday so probably too late to try get to Novi Sad then?

Thinking about getting the train down on the 10th and staying till the 13th. Anyone know details for any mini van type people that are reliable or recommend other ways and means? Over 100 per person using the official travel agents.

Also not sure if we're going to camp or get an apartment. Anyone any recommendations. Would you bake alive in a tent there?

  2. Into Exit and some other companies offer a minibus service for groups of 6 or more. We've got 4 and I'd be happy to meet up with some others to share our own minibus. We arrive at Budapest airport at 1045 in the morning. IntoExit are offering it for £42 one way which I think is a bit steep to be honest, others are doing it for 30-35 euros.

The 1230 IntoExit coach picks up from city centre and airport.

  3. Ahoy

It's my yearly, "I've got to find a festival to go to between 2 other festivals" post...

Going to Worldwide on the first weekend of July, my mates are flying back on the 6th (or maybe 7th) and I'm not meeting my other mates in Valencia until the 12th for Beni... leaving me with a spare week (and weekend)

Any festivals going on around that time, preferably in North East Spain or South France, but anywhere vaguely near there really! Or if not a festival, some cool places to go...

Went to SonneMondSterne on a reccomendation from this thread last year and it was well cool, completly different to anything I'd been to before, was camping on the edge of a friggin lake!

So yeah, any help greatly appreciated! :P

(also would most likely be going on my own, so somewhere nice and friendly!)

There's a 1 day festival called Monegros in Fraga (best way to go from Madrid) on the 18th of July. check this link: http://hifli.me/packageDetails.asp?eventid=43

  4. Hello There,

I run this travel website that is specialized in festival travel www.hifli.me.

And i'm organziing trips to both Exit & Melt.. i've already worked on some group bookings for people wanting to go to both festivals. I am authorized by both festivals to sell fest tickets. for exit, i am also organizing coaches from both budapest and belgrade to exit and back, and for melt i'm also selling coach tickets from berlin and the mixery camp tickets.

I can also let you know off the cheapest flights from any location for you to book.

If anyone is interested, you can write me on roger@hifli.me.

    Cheers,

  5. Hellooo

im flying to budapest, staying for a night and then travelling to Novi Sad from there via train i think ,but i cant find anywhere to actually pre book tickets, there's hundreds of sites saying what times trains go , but no where to buy tickets. Does anyone know if its fine to just turn up on the day and buy a ticket at the station, or will they all be sold out?

  6. Think you might be too early to book mate. Try later of if that fails then my recomendation is that (if you arrive in Budapest early) get yourself down to Keleti station and book your ticket (and seat reservation) at the international ticket office. Make sure you reserve a seat/compartment as the train will be heaving

    Good luck

    JD

  7. I think so. We never drove last year so not sure how close the supermarket is but I'm counting on one not being too far or getting one on the way out of Berlin. I stayed in Dessau and I'm sure we passed a supermarket on the bus journey there. There are no shops within walking distance of the festival so best to take what you'll need with you.
