The absolute cheapest way to book Wychwood tickets is through the office direct (01993 772580). One weekend with camping would be £140 on card (£2 card charge, £3 postage), or £138 if you send a cheque. There's no charge on top of any ticket prices except £3 delivery on the order as a whole if you buy any tickets this way

I've been going to Wychwood for three years and each year I have always enjoyed the balance between the indie and folk (which are my usual genres of choice) and the world music, which encourages me to try listening to something new. And of course there are also the emerging bands in the BBC introducing stage - last year there was a great mixture of styles on that stage.

Did anyone else spot this video interview with Robyn Hitchcock?

I love how animated he is! Really looking forward to seeing him this summer

The video looks great... can't wait to see you play at Wychy, have my tickets already

Justin Currie should be great. I'm glad to hear he's playing all of the old Del Amitri tunes as well as the new songs .

I was lucky enough to see Happy Mondays last October when I was on holiday in Toronto. They were fantastic and out shone Psychedelic Furs who were billed as the headliners for the gig. Can't wait to see them again at Wychwood this summer.

I think Wychwood offers great value for money, and kids are free so for most people it’s one of the best value festivals. There is a caravan club site within walking distance too if people don't want to stay at the racecourse in camper vans.
I live locally and don't usually camp on site for the festival, so I was happy to see that the camping is now sold separately from the ticket price. It seems a much fairer way of doing things.

I went last year. It was so good I bought tickets for this year before the lineup was even released. Really friendly, with lots of random spontaneous performances around the site.

I guess it's down to personal preference. I'm pleased to see Red Light Company on the bill though, I think they are going to be one of the best new bands this year.

I think the line-up this year is stronger than ever. Supergrass and SFA are two of my favourite bands and there is plenty of depth too with some great smaller bands.
Buying tickets - delivered in time or pickup?

Yup, if you order on 01993 772580 you can buy on the phone and then collect from the festival box office on the day.
