  1. Just been watching Season 1 of Sons of Anarchy. It's brilliant. Trudging through Season 5 of Community as well. Not great but I'm still quite enjoying it. And Parks and Rec season 2. Loving it.

I'm obsessing with Parks and Rec as well at the moment, first season I could take or leave but just started season 3 and it's getting better and better.

  2. Maximo Park obviously drew a huge crowd to the Queen's Head which brought the area to a standstill but did any other act fill the tent? I only wandered in a few times and it was rarely even half full. The drainage has not changed from Left Field days and so on Sunday I didn't bother entering as I was in trainers by then and the mud was still very squelchy.
  3. Beautiful, magical and all of that jazz. Something I thought I wouldn't see, as only got into them after the hiatus...I cried many a time but Heaven into Gabriel was so, so special.

Their energy really blew me away too, they really pack a punch live.

Did anyone else see what my group could only guess to have been the Eavis' in a crane over the crowd taking pictures etc? True Glastonbury moment.

  4. HIGHS

    1) Lamb.

They were just incredible, never had the chance to see them live before and at the point of Heaven straight into Gabriel, I have to confess the tears were flowing!

    2) Pendulum.

Partly because it was one of the few times my whole group managed to get together for something, but also the crowd was immense, in my opinion they beat Prodigy at their own game. But the red wine might have something to do with it!

    3) Wednesday afternoon in the sunshine at the Brothers Bar.

Shame they weren't allowed their music on but the atmosphere was brilliant, as always. Fast becoming a tradition.

    4) Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip.

Seen them a load of times, always brilliant but once again, the Glastonbury atmosphere raised it to something special...would love to see them play somewhere like the Glade next year, think The Queens Head was a bit too small.

    5) The Glastonbury Spirit

Particularly during the storms. Just walking around on Thursday evening, to walk past the bandstand with everyone dancing away and the wine bars, a similar scene was brilliant, put a great big smile on my face! Much more enjoyable than watching those who were huddling under trees looking forlorn!

    LOWS

    1) Bit of a broken record one here, but a group of youngsters camping near us (yes, I'm a youngster too and one of the reasons it annoys me is because it taints all of our names) deciding to throw rollmats, waterproofs etc on their campfire, which was intelligently placed under a gazebo. Then watching them set one of their tents on fire. Thankfully, the lovely campsite crew sorted them out but still, not what we want at Glasto.

    2) The queues on Wednesday morning- not much can be done about it, but took 4 hours to do a 30min journey...particularly bad because I wasn't expecting it so had cracked open the beers then was punished by the lack of toilet!

    3) My boyfriend's mum answering his phone on Sunday, when I was 6 pints of Brothers in...and me, not realising the state I was in, chatting rubbish to her... ;) Before promptly falling asleep in the Green Futures field and missing Bon Iver and Mr Scruff! (Note: Brothers CAN be bad kids...)

    4) Maximo Park's sound problems outside the tent on Thursday. Very disappointing for those who had stood in the scorching heat waiting for them.

    5) BBC Coverage. Were they at a different festival? Oh well...at least I can watch Jack Penate's set over...and over...and over...and over...
