I was like that! But then I got a Sleeping Pod!!!! OMG they are amazing. Instead of being all sleeping bag shaped, they are oval so you can move about in them. I wouldn't be without mine now!
(I sound like a fricking advert! I'm not. I just seriously love my pink pod!)

I totally agree with a lot of what has been said here about AC's unprofessional, childish attitude. I'm not an ACDC fan at all so I'm not bought off with that 'oooh its ACDC' line he keeps spinning. I'll be at the bar since there will be naff all else to do apparently! I'm still gonna go, cos I love rock festivals generally but the line up doesn't blow me away (yet?) If he doesn't deliver me some of that 'humble pie' in the next couple of weeks I'll be the first to throw that back in his face like the two-year-old he makes me revert to!
Not long now anyway, I'm packing the sunshine!

Must admit am waiting for more bands announced before I decide whether to go this year or not!
If anyone is contemplating the Nordschleife, we did it last year - it was nothing like what we had expected so if anyone has any questions about it I'd be happy to help!!

This will be my first year at Leeds as we normally go to V but my friend has decided to get married that weekend! We have a transit van with a fixed bed but no other facilities. We always take a portable toilet but i know in the terms and conditions it says that you need fixed cooking or wahsing facilities. Has anyone taken a part converted van before and been turned away?
We have never had any problems at V and they let horse boxes in! Any help would be much apreciated!!!

The good thing about some smaller UK acts being there is that they don't have as big a following in Germany, managed to get pretty much right to the front to see Biffy Clyro and the Gallows in the Coca-Cola tent - that would be possible in the uk !!

Ticket prices gradually go up the closer it gets to the date. It was 125 euro back in Jan some time.

Hey there, my first RaR this year and I'm going North Loop too - very excited! I'm ecstatic to see Biffy, Slipknot, Killers, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Prodigy, Placebo - the line up suits me fine.
I noticed the website today says the ticket price goes up on 1 April, anyone know why? I may be reading too much into that...

The FAQ is legend thanks Chris, wish I'd found it before I bought the tickets - it would have saved me a lot of time and effort!
A bunch of us going for the first time (wanted to try a Euro fest) and we're taking the day van for a mini tour first, ending up at RaR on the Thursday. As we're getting on a bit and not fit for hiking our stuff for miles to the campsite we're considering the north loop - has anyone had first hand experience??
