i dont think its going to be a disaster and from what ive seen there arent that many people complaining.
we launched the early bird at £100 which was a lower price offer ticket.
we then launched the front row ticket for £120 which was to get you a guaranteed camping spot in purple.
it was never the original intention for the EB tickets to get into FR.
when asked on this forum about it i said that if EB want to go into FR then they can as i didnt want to penalise EB people.
all we are asking is that those wanting to do this (which isnt that many as lots of people prefer to stay in yellow or in quiet camping in red anyway) is to exchange the ticket at the box office before going in. this means that we dont have to run 2 ticketing systems at the wristband exchange area which i would potentially cause more problem.
those people who dont want to bother with purple or exchanging their ticket will just camp as they would normally with yellow or red.
let me know if ive missed the point as ive not had chance to look at all the messages and if i have then let me know the issues and i'll look into.

Anyway my question is will the Carling beer amnesty be returning this year as it was home to many a drunken campsite sing-along last year?

that the full lineup isn't on the website two days before the festival

I presume most people got the email stating that the full line up was on the Rockness website, when it isn't. I suppose I'll just have to be patient

The age police stopped me last year on my way in and i had to wear one pink glove for the duration of the festival so the bar staff would nknow not to serve me any alcohol.

Agreed. Top class shows the organisers actually do give a f**k about the people who come to their festival, and not just about the money in their pockets

Yeah you should be fine. I was 16 when I went last year and I didn't get asked for id once. Unless you look 6 you shouldn't have a problem.

I was 16 at last years Rockness and I had no problems getting in or getting sold. I was never asked for ID when wandering around with drink either so I'd say you would be unlucky to unless you look really young.

Really not rating the lack of purple been there the past three years. Hopefully no purple won't mean the rest of the site is packed full.
