Is anyone else super excited for this. Its only just over a month away
So many bands spread across each day for me. Just hope there isn't too many clashes when they release the timetable.
-
Lineup has turned a bit meh for me. Hopefully lowlands can pick up the slack

Went to this fes in, 1986 simple minds headling. It was torhout the next day, do they still do dual sites.

I've looked through this thread and the one from 2008 and I haven't been able to find anything about hostels. Are there any budget accomodation options other than camping? I'll be backpacking without camping gear, and would prefer not to spend the cash on hotels.

I wish they would give us the timetable... Not that it really matters when we get it

Flaming Lips pulled out, their flying home early or something.

Well lineup wise, the 2 festivals are pritty much the same bar a few bands.
Can't speak for Lowlands as ive never been to it, but Pukkelpop is excellent, well organised, theres 1 huge campsite for everyone (directly opposite the festival site, so no long walking) so theres good fun to be had in there.
9 or so stages, comedy tent (mainly dutch though).
a good thing is the "boiler room" its basically a dance tent that stays open till 4am every night, so the music doesn't just stop at 1am and then its back to campsite.

Final bands just announced:
Metro Station, Arsenal, Milk Inc, Triggerfinger, Lady Linn & Her Magnificent Seven and Jasper Erkens
bit of a shit one that!
-
Its the norm, the last 3 years ive been going anyway, you could always buy tickets at the festival, so it never sold out, and as far as i know, since the festival started, its only ever sold out once.
Never understood why really, its piss cheap and 9 stages = loads of bands.

The nice thing about PP is that you can leave it until the last minute as there'll still be tickets available
-
Tickets and flights (via Amsterdam) booked up.
Cant wait was brilliant last year. Is it easy enough to get a train from Amsterdam - Leuven?
Also does anyone know how strict they are on use of the free train in Belgium with your ticket. We will be travelling down on the Wednesday but my tickets says the free travel in Belgium is only from Thursday to Monday?

288 users reading this thread, dude.
I'm not sure why we all find it so vital to stay up until midnight to possibly or possibly not hear that Lostprophets are playing, but we must

For the announcement today to be scheduled to move..... today can't have anything to do with a band dragging their heels by this stage, I wouldn't think.
If they were on the brink of being announced all the booking, payment etc. would have already been sorted, it would be too late to kick up a fuss by now, if they knew a band was causing problems then they wouldn't have made arrangements to announce said band today.
I think it's probably NME trying to sell issues as this is one of very few things that they claim to have exclusives on that they actually do have exclusives on.
