it's too early yet for any weather forecast to mean very much. The weather they're predicting is likely to happen, but when it happens is still up in the air - it might happen sooner (the most likely, history tells me), or it might happen later.
It's not like knowing the weather early is much good to anyone anyway - what will happen will happen.
This time next week is the time to be looking .... and here's betting that what Metcheck is saying then turns out to be the nearest of any weather site to what does happen.

Hi all.
Well I thought it would be a good idea to remind myself how my tent goes up this morning.
The trial run went well, and a trip to the shops for glasto supplies beckoned.
When I got home I found that a cat had run up one side or my tent, claws out, leaving scratch marks but more worrying, some tears (2cm) in the outer skin and some puncture marks on the inner.
Will duct tape on the inside of the outer shell make my tent waterproof again??
Any help/advise would be great.

Remember that filling your coolbox with just 440ml cans will be no good unless lots of them are frozen ones !

Does anyone own any of the following:
Coleman xtreme 70
Coleman xtreme 50 with wheels
Igloo legend 54
Igloo maxcold 60 with wheels
If you do, how many 440ml cans does your cooler hold? They all say capacity in 330ml and I'm sceptical that a simple conversion will give me a true reflection!

Heard from a source this week that Abba and Rolling Stones will be playing.
Can't remember why source said Abba, but he said it was a sure thing. He mentioned that Mick Jagger and Keith Wood were seen at Worthy Farm recently.
My source is in the entertainment industry, so could be true...............

I am going on a well earned holiday next week to Somerset, and have a trip to Glastonbury to visit the festival site on my 'must do' list!!
Obviously this is a working farm/s and i wouldn't want to upset anyone by being where i shouldn't be...sooooo were do you think i can park up and explore?!!

the BBC - and particularly it's DJs - have a long history of getting stuff like this wrong. I reckon it's the case that, because a band is playing some festivals, they assume them to also be playing Glasto, "cos every band plays at Glasto".
All of the evidence - and some of very strong - points to Orbital not being at Glastonbury this year.
Having said that, they could be I guess. But I really don't think so.

After Kasabian on Saturday night we want to carry on with some dance music as Bruce doesn't really do it for me.
I need to choose between Stereo MC's / 2ManyDJs / Josh Wink.
I've seen Stereo MC's before and really enjoyed them but I've heard good things about Josh Wink and 2ManyDJ's.
Who will be best to keep the party going after Kasabian?

Hi...I am still wearing my 2011 wristband with pride!! I am going to Holland in a few weeks and i'm wondering whether i will have to remove it because of the metal detectors/security?! Does anyone have any experience of this?
