    Am not sure whether its a fashion thing or laziness. Glastonbury looks amazing on the TV and I am sure people watch and think they want a slice of that. Turn up in Somerset for the weekend and have an amazing time.

    The reality is somewhat different and I don't think a lot of people can deal with that. Glastonbury is f**king hard work, lots of walking over farmland, carrying your stuff etc etc - you all know the score.

    To get the most out of Glastonbury you gotta put a few shifts in........people just aint used it - they want instant gratification.

    I guess this applies to all festivals - I only have experience of Glastonbury though. I have camped all my life so its a walk in the park for me - still hate the log drops though ;-)

    JUST SAY "NO" KIDS!

    She was an out and out druggie and got what she deserved. Harsh but true.

    Fantastic talent, but feel sorry for her family who are left to pick up the pieces and deal with the media frenzy.

    Selfish fool.

    Sure its for crowd safety - should the worst happen they can relieve crushes by pulling / allowing a large number over - Also it allows for medical treatment to take place and give enough space to allow for access of ambulance & other emergency services.

    I guess its size is also directly related to the potential size of the audience - 100,000+

    I am no expert but thats my guess and is probably as a result of lessons learnt at Hillsborough, Roskilde & Love Parade

    With MyHab going tits up and the sudden emergency replacement - take a flyer - say you have a booking - but brought your own tent. Am sure its worth a try
