I don't disagree that they can do excellent things - but it's still the case that mostly they're doing very little aside from playing records.

It's nothing different to every other DJ. At the end of the day they're just playing records.

The official site gives abit more away, looking at how it pans out on paper & the inclusion of some familiar smaller names i'm feeling much more positive.
& 2 dance headliners still to be announced

Whoever does her PR (it could be her) is a genius. She's been constantly on an upward trajectory before I was aware of her. IMO but she will be as successful as Madonna. Although I was wrong about JT being the new MJ.
Will put on a cracking show too. I would probably gone to see her just to say I had in the future.

Could be Kings of Leon, have a gap in the tour, are in the UK, and they've headlined before, so have a connection to the fest!

Since seeing the line up second thoughts have set in again, its not very inspiring for me, some i would like to see,but on the whole i can't see enough to justify the total ammount 3 days in a field is going to cost, £200+ for ticket and car park,£60 new tent, £150 +spends. I have had good times there and think now its time i called it a day,i think i have untill May 6th to get a refund but am more or less certain i will be on the pone to See sometime next week checking on a refund.

You may think she makes rubbish music, but one thing she's not is an idiot. You don't become (probably) the world's biggest artist without having at least something going on up there.

Really impressed they've got Lady Gaga headlining. It's 10 days before her new album so it'll be a show to promote that. She said on Radio 1 this morning it was going to be a one-off production for the festival. Will be pretty impressive.

I'm pretty annoyed with C&S headlining, would much prefer a band like Foals, The XX, Jamie T, Glasvegas, Manics, etc on the main stage, and have C&S in the dance tent
It was only two years ago they played the Dance tent (and not in a main spot), and they havent got that much bigger, certainly not as big as Blondie or The Cribs, or any of the past headliners!

just remember so much smoke you couldnt see the band, loads of lights flashing (which were pretty lost in the friday morning sun), i went on the strength of trash and a couple of other tracks however it was hard to get in to the atmosphere of the music at 11am. im sure they would have a much more appropriate time slot and stage if they appeared at kendal

forgot to add, i saw the whip in a very early slot at glastonbury the other year, they were so misplaced at 11am on the other stage. reckon theyd be much better suited by a later slot at a smaller venue.

Elbow play arenas now so, (hopefully for selfish ole me), out of Kendals league
Pulp would be marvelous, one of my all-time favourite live bands. Was tempted to get Wireless tickets to see them but came to my senses just in time
Pendulum's mighty return would please me very much. Need my fix. Missed seeing them last year
And The Whip pretty pretty please for a daytime boogie?

Yeah, reckon the Stuffies will play before the Levs (they're touring together at the mo)...reckon headliners will be out of Manics, Ian Brown, Primal Scream, Editors, Flaming Lips...and if we're really, really lucky...Elbow
Kinda hope they make some crap announcements as well...I really enjoyed the stuff it the new band tent, Wind-Up Birds, Exit Calm, Our Fold were all highlights

yeah, we're the same. We had general camping tix and was fine. Luck of draw when it comes to who you camp next to at festivals innit. Hopefully the drunken teens wont be a big issue this year as they have to be accompanied by an adult

There was never going to be any longevity with Gaga, the majority of her appeal to most was her bizarreness most of her fans are into fashion not music - its a gimmick that is beginning to wear off fast.
