  2. Payment Reference: cpwebwater1234517

    Amount: £15

15 from a poor student :) more of a thanks to efestivals for years of good forums and helpful people x

  3. Oh f**k off, I'm sure you will find that my opinion aligns a lot more closely with the rest of this forum then your own. Seriously, I'm not the one whining about three acts out of the hundreds that will play over the festival.
  4. Yeah, but they all have the same "compromising and fair comments" which don't need to be repeated seventy times a day. Just post that you are in agreement on the first thread and don't make a new one, it's redundant.
  5. Seriously, can we just start deleting all of these "I'm young and I hate old music and this sucks" posts because they are starting to make reading this forum a chore. Maybe merge them into one pisstaking section? I'm starting to get serious rage issues from all of this.

As a side note, And I'm 21 and I have no problem with the headliners, especially seeing as there are tons of "young" acts added elsewhere than the Pyramid.

  6. i dont think its age so much that im 18 so therefore i musnt like the music of old people, just because im younger i didnt grow up hearing the likes of neil young. of course new music appeals to me, not because its new, i enjoy music from all times, just because its my generation of music that ill tell my kids about, as awful as some of it is. Although this is my first time at glastonbury i know and am excited about the fact that im going to be able to take my time, try some of this cider ive heard so much about, be with friends and try music ive never heard of, rather than at reading where i was literally running between bands, with not much time to relax with like minded people with a beer. bring on glastonbury, despite the boring headliners (in my opinion :P)

  7. Yeah me too, just the best line up ever claims were annoying me, but i cant wait to go to glasto to see bands i havnt heard of and totally random genres, just chilling out, in a way im glad there are less bands i want to see here than reading last year, at reading hardly got to spend any time with friends, and at night there wasnt really anything to do.

  8. these headliners have absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever, im not going for the music, ill go reading for that, but still, i gave neil young a listen was totally bored, and blur i dont feel were ever anything special. I can see why the line up can be seen as good to some people but for eavis to claim its the best ever line up is a bit far i feel. Just my thoughts  Still really looking forward to it though.

  9. But the original post I was replying too said that as he was 18, NY or BS had no appeal to him. Therefore implying that he didnt like them because they were not the music of his time. Very different to not being aware of who they were.

And I would say I listen to more music now that I am older.

  10. rage at reading 08 was by far the best gig ive ever been to. thing what annoyed me was why couldnt they be more original with thier message, bush, iraq etc yeah true but really boring lol should made that massive speech abut something else like mugabe or something.
