I wouldnt want the gorillaz. I personally dont think they are big enough and it doesnt matter how many songs they have i just dont believe the would be a good way to close the festival. Tbh if Damon Albarn was to play i would rather he was with the rest of blur and that cockney man who was on eastenders and sings in parklife.

I don't think it's that poor but it sure as hell must appeal to a younger/chart/pop audience. If you're about 19 this must seem like a great line up.

this is my opinion anyway i can only see 3 more slots where JG can stick someone worth the ticket price
friday big top headliner: not a clue who it could be (then again was bananaramma last year so i better not get too excited over this one)
sunday afternoon befor blondie: not a clue who this could be either
sunday headliner: at this rate could be anyone from McCartney to Jedward
then again no announcement can be worse than la roux....

As most festy lovers will know I.O.W. celebrates its 40th anniversary this year,and because of this I have this very strong gut feeling that Mr Giddings is going to have a more than usual list of top acts to comemerate this,which I think would be a great festival that many top names would be asking to play rather than being asked by Mr Giddings himself.So all you I.O.W.festy freaks what do ya think or am I talkin through a hole in my arse again lol.

Cheers for that. My hubby has just been made redundant so the festival budget has been reduced by quite a lot, so I'll see what happens.

i dont think there are early bird tickets unless your festival first
but tickets are released an age before even the first acts are released and they take months to sell out so you wont struggle getting them
