  1. I used it last year - it was quite good as a handy pocket guide where you just press a button and it tells you whats on where. You also get notified of a few secret gigs, competitions and other stuff each day. The navigation features are a bit useless though - a paper map has more info and doesn't drain your battery.

I haven't been sent the link this year either, but last year it didn't arrive til very late either. I would wait til the weekend before the festival before chasing it up.

  2. My problem is we set off from the tent after a cuppa + bacon butty at about 11am and won't be seen again at the tent till early hours. Don't want to set off in my lovely comfy sandles only for the heavens to open 5 hours later and have to walk 40mins back to tent for wellies...... Although I'd rather not have big plastic boots on my feet if it's 20 degrees all day....... B) Decisions, decisions!...

  3. I had one a couple of years ago where it rained the entire weekend, and they said it was going to be the last one ever. I woke up in tears!

Fortunately I don't usually predict stuff in my nightmares!

I did have another, much happier one, but nothing I can repeat here B)

  4. I got my bag stolen from the porch of my tent whilst i was in it. We'd gone back because it was raining. It must have stopped and someone thought wet stuff would be left out and easy to steal.

Luckily I had taken money/phone/camera out, so as nothing valuable was inside it was dumped nearby.

After that we made use of the free property places. Heard lots of stories about people having things stolen from under their pillows.

I guess the lesson is to be careful, and next year I might invest in some bells to tie to the zip of my tent.
