Probably a bit late to reply now, but there is a big bunch of compost toilets on the left side of the Pyramid Stage (as you look at it) about halfway up the arena side. Love the compost loos!

Three years ago the left side of my left heel went numb at Glastonbury. I’ve never got the feeling back in it. I plan to just keep numbing a bit more every year until I’m some bionic person who can walk forever and not hurt. No sore feet this year but I had a very lazy Saturday wandering from water point to water point so I think this is why!

Country boots! Don’t make my legs and feet sweat like wellies and they are insulated in mud anyway from being worn 365 days a year dragging my horse out her field ?

Arriving by coach so it’s always Pedestrian Gate A for us! We like to camp in the Darble so we can see gate A glowing like a glorious moon in the sky.

We had some wonderful food from there a couple of years ago (and my friend was very excited to hear that Noel Gallagher was somewhat of a regular there!)
Was sad to not find it this year.

The Jacksons doing their tribute to Michael and Barry Gibb when he got all emotional. Must be hard for these artists performing without their loved ones.

I have numbness in my left heel... never had it before.

The sole of my left foot is totally numb. Not sure why?? Never had this before. I spent today in bed, getting up occasionally to change the washing over. Ordered Chinese for tonight as I can't face getting out of PJs to go to the supermarket. Back to work tomorrow...

Bridles? Is that what they're called? I'm not a horsey person.
Yes! They were also in fancy dress on the Saturday. Gorgeous boys!

Their bread and butter toffee pudding is to die for! Three years running we have loved it!

I was down the front and had a great time! Vocals a bit low but was impressed by their moves, and the emotional tribute to Michael! (Who was chopping onions?)

We were impressed this year on the way to Glastonbury, as for the first time in our memory, the 10:30pm Tuesday night coach from Edinburgh actually arrived on time and left on time.
Coming home however, both the Edinburgh and Glasgow buses were around 2 hours late picking us up, our coach then proceeded to break down on the M5 (I have some lovely photos of us all on the hard shoulder like war torn refugees). The driver got it going again, but we then had an hours wait in services for a mechanic to come and "fix" it. Back on the road... another 50-100 miles, and we were back on the hard shoulder of the M6, with the bus goosed again. Another bus came, we transferred all the luggage/people onto the new bus. Then another swap onto another bus at Gretna. Around 14 hours to get home.

Just in! 45 minutes from coach to campsite in the Darble! Quick pat down by the security chap, queue moving well!

One thing I learned in 2010... when you're walking about, you will feel slower when it's crazy hot. Plan accordingly if there are bands you want to see! We seemed to spend a lot of 2010 hiding in the Cabaret tent because we were being roasted alive!

i probalby shouldn't be sounding off to people on a music festival forum about this, but no one else to talk to about it.
Glad you are able to talk here though. We all understand 100% how conflicted you will be feeling! Hope your dad continues to improve. Sending you love!

We always camp in Darble. People around us were friendly enough, the people right behind us had one of those inflatable lounger things that basically looks like you are lying in a giant vulva so that provided a talking point especially when there was no wind and they were trying to inflate it. Never had any issues in the Darble and everyone always seems up for a bit of chat!
