well just an Update , My lovley other half has just announced that he will be finished at 3pm ish friday now!! and so we could now be leaving by 4pm now instead of 6pm like we thought it would be...

Im pee'd at missing a good chunk of Friday, we wont be there till 9pm ish , we have motor home so least we dont have to put up tent etc...

am stuck in work and can't get down till friday.
i'm working in edinburgh and can't leave till 11am Friday, then drive straight from work. should hopefully be there by 9ish.
saw my gf off to the train yesterday, and am home alone in the meantime. I didn't think i'd mind so much, but the ferocity of my bad mood today took me a bit by surprise. and time has never gone so slow.

have you tried the Festival office directly? Ive read on here posts from people who have had various dilemmas sorted or getting more positive and better responses from phoning the festival office directly instead of the seetickets line ?

me and my m8 took our own little instruments to endorset last year, we took a tambourine, recorder , castanets and maracas .
the maracas were the most popular and we both wanted them !
My friend liked them that much she played them all night long,
but the next day she paid well for her crime of hogging the maracas as she had a huge blister on her thumb from too much maraca shaking !

Im terrible, I do a lot of talking and thinking but little action.
Any where I go away, I always end up running out of time and having to take still wet washing ... drying it on the window shelf of the car on the journey where I cant sort my shit out ever on time !! ..... you can guarantee I'll be up all the night before packing like made too.
I always leaving every thing till the last minuet

not quite the same but my dad has just been signed off sick after having a fit out o the blue, hes had his licence revoked and his job is as a m.o.d driver, hes been diagnosed with epilepsy now and fingers crossed he will be able to have his licence back in 6 months now but his work are being awkaward and doing there best to try to oush him into early retirement cause it gives them a perfect excuse to get rid of someone else where he works,
if it had happend before this recession his employers would have bent over backwards to move him to a non driving department till his licence was given back, but not now, there just trying to get rid of people!
really hard going for people losing there jobs , I hope it works out for you anyway.
and make sure you have a good glasto !!

my advice ....
take a box of immodium (not all at once)
and you will find you dont need to spend any long periods of time in the porta loos , saving the no. 2's till you get back home
plus it helps stop in its tracks any over indulging you did the night before be it from cider or the cheeseburger you ate.
trust me.. you will get more belly ache letting 'it' go out the natural way, down the portaloo road... than keeping 'it' in till you get home, with the aid of immodium

On the net-weather forum I use there is a ongoing disscussion on the Glastonbury forcast, if its of interest to any one wanting to follow a constant update of weather predictions for Glasto.
a few members on there are generally a better option than the Met office ( obviously there are some who post complete crap too
)

All those suns on the page reminds me of the forecast prior to me arriving in Parisfor a week last year..... it all changed to quite the opposite when I arrived ...and then back to suns when I left
and then there's the time I went florida and they started selling wooly hats fer fooks sake! and the rain !! .. hadnt had weather as bad in years according to some ...
and thats just a couple of examples.
even the local carnival where I live got canceled last year too due to bad weather .... the only year to be canceled .....also the only year I was going because my kids were going to be in theprocession!
I can give plenty more examples to past bad weather + me experiences
anyone go to En-Dorset fest last year ?? lol! .... sorry It was my fault too
