How do you define "small festival"? Green Man is still £120 per person - thats not small to me no matter how many stages it has. Gutted really because it always has an amazing line-up. Secret Garden Party has the atmosphere and line-up to match - £140 per person.
Festinho for me

That is a stunning line-up. Good luck with this one, wish I could go

A good mate of mine runs this festival and I work with him at Bestival. He said last year was amazing and couldn't take the smile off his face when talking about it and everything else I heard was great. Reckon it's well worth a go, especially if you can go to Blissfields too

I was looking for festivals in September and just happened upon it. Sounds great. Never heard of any of last year's line up but the vibe sounds great. Am just wondering if I'll be able to convince any of my mates to go...

This was a belter last year. Easily the best festie I've been to (and the closest in atmosphere) since the Big Chill Gala '95. Really intimate vibe, stunning location, lovely people everywhere, four stages (including the amazing Disco Shed and Kentish Green areas) and a top line-up.
Got my early bird ticket for £45 last week. Very excited!!!

Festinho for me. About 600-700 lovely people, cracking music and a Disco Shed sound system in the woods.
Top Notch!

Optimus Alive in beautiful Lisboa. The Atmosphere was lovely this year - we'll definitely be going back if we can afford it!

Hello All.
Just wondered if anyone could suggest a nice, mellow festival for me to try in 2009.
I'd like to try a small festival in Europe (maybe somewhere hot with beaches ;-) and am not so bothered by major headline acts, rather a good vibe and some nice countryside.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
