I saw Blur at Glastonbury and T in the Park last year, and the Glastonbury performance pisses all over T in the Park's, which was sadly cut short due to Graham becoming ill.
-
Someone I know spent a fair bit of time working with them when they were in London a few weeks back and apparently it was confirmed to him that they're playing.
-
Yeah, I got that far then when you get to the payment page, the amount says "0" and it cannot be changed. Says "sold out" next to it. Got my hopes up a bit too...
-
Yeah. Where!?
-
Just seen they're back on sale now...

Yep, it was Tender. I cried my eyes out, and now every time i talk about it or listen to it, I cry!
Ended up watching Blur at T in the Park on my own, and once again cried, difference between there and Glasto was that I actually got dirty looks and people saying "what the f**k is she crying for? it's only a song". Nobs!

I got 2 pints for each badge which I was suprised about, ordered 6, gave her two badges and the rest of the money, and she slipped one of the badges back in my purse!
I miss the stuff. I could drink the Lemon one all day!

I went to T in the Park last year for the first time, the amount of clashes with bands I wanted to see was horrific to say the least and I was at times scared to even give eye contact to some people, let alone strike up a conversation or offer them some of my smuggled in skittles vodka! The no campfire rule is a shit one too, we ended up sitting outside in our sleeping bags back at camp but it just wasn't the same. Toilets at T are the worst I've ever seen in my life. It would've probably be cleaner to shit myself if I'm honest! The drink tokens thing is a shit idea too so we'd just smuggle booze in as it was easier. Having said that, I had an awesome weekend and am going back again this year to give it a second chance.
I went to Glasto for the first time this year, hardly saw any bands, was amazed at how friendly people were, toilets were ace (as far as festival toilets go!) looooooooooads to do, wonderful atmosphere around camp sitting around the fire chatting to randoms as they passed. Aactually being able to pay at the bar with cash! Best 5 days of my life and even though I hardly saw any bands, and didn't see half the things at Glasto/visited half the areas, it was still amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. The only fault I have with Glasto is that it's not every weekend.
I think that's the answer you were looking for..

Since coming home the sore throat has got better but I ache all over, have developed a very strange cough which will just come all of a sudden and dry my whole mouth up making it difficult to speak (it goes again once I have a drink or suck on a sweet) and last night I actually threw up.
I've also got really bad stomach ache.

I've bought everything I need except for food and drink, which i'm getting the day before we set off.. I just want to pack and go now!

I'm taking a Hannah Montana one.....

just think of them as an investment, if you keep them for 5 years + there less than a £10 a year
and as your gonna be standing for about 18hours a day you want something comfy
-
I bought mens ones last year because they tend to be a bit wider, but I found they were too big around the ankle/top of the foot so they weren't the comfiest thing to wear all day. You tend to find that womens wellies even though they're marketed as wide fit, they're only wider by 2-3cms which isn't that much.
This year I said I wanted some that are made for girls, the only ones i've found that are nice are these http://www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies.html they're pricey, but mine came yesterday and they're fantastic. The smallest fitting (pulling the ties as small as they'll go) still has plenty of room around the calf, and they are REALLY comfy.
-
Poundland have got loooads of over the knee socks, including neon patterned ones which hurt my eyes but i'm probably going to buy anyway!
I bought these http://www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies.html on Tuesday, and they arrived today.
I've got really muscley calves, and alot of wellies are tight around the top so I ended up buying blokes ones last year, which were comfy and fit, but were plain back and boring.
At work and currently trying these wellies out and they're really really comfy and even on the tightest/smallest 'setting' there's plenty of room in there to tuck in trousers (or more importantly PJ bottoms during middle of the night toilet runs!)

I'm glad this has been asked, I was thinking the same the other week.
A friend of mine told me yesterday that she took a trolley on the coach last year and there was no problem. You're allowed 2 suitcase sized pieces of luggage, and seeing as the trolley is flat, it doesn't take up any more space.
The only thing that may be an issue is the weight. I know on airlines, by law baggage handlers can't lift a case heavier than 35kg (I know this because every year i went overseas for the summer i'd have to take stuff out of one of my cases to make it lighter) so I presume it's something similar for coach drivers too.
Best thing i'd suggest is lift it into the hold yourself!

I bought some baby pink Hunter wellies about 5 or 6 years ago. I used to wear them for taking the dog out, but ended up binning them because I stopped wearing them (found them to be waaay too uncomfy.
I had a cheapo pair of black ones from Amazon last year and they were dead comfy!

That Liam guy is almost a big a cock as the twat from Maximo Park. Oh, and anyone out of Scouting for Girls.

Well, i'm currently in the middle of the most pointless monthly cycle in the history of monthly cycles.
Which means that next months will come early, no doubt on the way down to Glasto and it will be a bastard. I'll end up with cramps and everything.
If it does I'm going to get pissed and perform a hysterectomy with tent peg and a plastic spoon.

well, the post has been, and nothing. Mum saw the van on the next street ans asked if he'd been to our house, but he hadn't
Looks like it'll be tomorrow then.

Mine was depatched yesterday. Waiting for a call from home to let me know when/if it arrives.
Our post normally comes between 11 &12, which is the only time of day no one is at home as mum does the school run for the various kiddies she looks after. f**k.
She said "Oh, I normally see the postwoman on my way back" so she's under strict instructions to chase her down the road if need be!

As soon as I saw the Special Guest and TBA under Laura Marling on the Park, I thought of Mumford & Sons....
