im not sure how much it costs but my husband said it was well worth it for the better toilets and showers, plus the vip camping area didn't have to deal with the neds trampling on tents n that, we def. are upgrading when its available, and if you got the early bird tickets it wont seem like that much to upgrade later on anyway, def. we'll all pick somewhere to meet up beforehand if you like.

hey its our first time too, well its mine - husband went in 2007 with friends but i lived in america at the time so i missed it. we wanna meet up with other couples too - im sure we'll see you both there

maybe it was something they conjured up themselves, when i looked it up on google it seems people make their own battery powered speakers with all sorts? you can find battery powered speakers to buy if you type it in google too, though im sure you've done this. the block rocker looks nice but its expensive and if im spending that i dont wanna take it in case it gets stolen. let me know if you find anything worth bringing thats cheap x

all this post says is that the festival will never be good unless daft punk come back (and if were all realistic about this its not gonna happen, T will grab them 100%)
almost everyone you listed to make the festival 'worthwhile' have already played, a few more than once!
The headliners this year were certainly not to everyones taste but that does not in any sense make them shit headliners (paolo turned out not that good but it was still a great shout of a booking)
Rockness has so much going for it, including the epic line up they put on EVERY year. But every year theres constant complaints.
If you want every big name you can think of, go to glasto, Rockness isnt that kind of festival. Its just as important to showcase amazing new talent as it is to bring in the big names.
You cant say that jim and the team dont put on a great weekend every year on what im guessing is a reallllllly tight budget with festivals getting cancelled all over the place!

I would love... Daft Punk (obviously). Justice, Etienne De Crecy, Deadmau5 would be alright... Soulwax, Sebastian Leger, Chemical Brothers (which will hopefully/most likely appear), Underworld, Orbital and maybe Lützenkirchen. But... not getting my hopes up
kind of hope there is more that kind of music than the likes of biffy clyro though... or how sad, olly murs (surely not). and the less neds the better. -

lol i think i'll stick inside the festival cheers. dunno about efest camp, maybe though - just wanna get friendly with the people around camping, looking forward to it so much don't wanna get there and be near people who ruin the experience. lookin to get smashed, not sleep much and see as many things as i can in the 3 day period so wanna make the most of it. hope the lineup is decent

already bought tickets, going with my husband - he went in '07 but this is my first time. was wondering if other couples are going or if its mostly groups of friends. up for meeting new people, just none of our friends are into the same music. probably meet new people there into the same music though, if approachable. also not sure if we wanna go vip camping or not, don't wanna be near neds trampling on/raiding the tent but also dont wanna be near people who have a fit if you smoke etc. just wanna have a good time! experiences?

surely there will be some bangin techno... i mean it can't be all shit. early bird tickets already bought so either way im going, if its all shit i'll just be camping i guess. still time to find good stuff, no one wants to go to a festival to see olly murs, what a dissapointment that would be. bring on chemical brothers, underworld and etienne de crecy. daft punk could make an appearance too, wouldn't mind at all

in 2007 they had DAFT PUNK, chemical brothers AND 2manydj's as their headliners.. I mean last year they had some alright stuff, including chemical brothers and boys noize but come on lets make 2012 worth while. Seriously, people still rave on about 2007's festival saying it was amazing. Try to get the best of the best... Daft Punk (if they are touring), Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Underworld, DIM, Etienne De Crecy, Justice, etc.
