Nathan of KOL has slammed the Reading Crowd:
"Reading? What the f**k?" he wrote. "Zero love for the kings. I know it was cold but holy shit, y'all were frozen. I can only hope Leeds is in better form."
source- http://www.nme.com/news/kings-of-leon/47008
further proof why Reading is a shit festival

no point really V Festival is rubbish doesn't matter when it is you will just grow more and more pop mainstream every year.
Next year you will have Peter Andre preaching to you rich kids during his headline performance and everyone afterwards will be like:
"that was spiffing, I now quite fancy a cup of tea and a scone"

Coming from the news and from the Coons spokesperson today the Coon has announced he will play at Glastonbury next year.
Here is a quote from "The Coon" himself:
"Glastonbury The Coon is ready the question is are you? Glastonbury is a rising festival in the UK and i hope to at long last help it to take overtake V Festival, Reading And Leeds, Oxygen and T in The Park as the number one festival. We shall jump from 5th best to 1st in the space of a year

why are you surprised the YYY's are playing pretty much all the big festivals this year.
They are already announced for T and Reading so i dont see how you are surprised.
You should be surprised though cause they are class

Ive seen a few bands either at T or outside of it and my favourites so far have been:
1. The Prodigy (SECC)- Amazing night and was really near the front, great atmosphere aswell plus
support was awesome with Dizzeee Rascal and some DJ's
2. Rage Against The Machine (T In The Park 08)- Great night I just find them a bit repetitive at times but great
3. Chemical Brothers (T '08)- My first ever T headliner and it was an amazing performance with awesome lights which I really enjoyed.
4. Stereophonics (T'08)- Didnt play enough of 'Pull The Pin' but Kelly Jones' voice live is something special and the old tracks gave us a good sing-a-long.
5. Bloc Party (02 Academy)- Love Bloc Party they just have great tunes and we were directly at the front aswell which was nice.
6. Franz Ferdinand (Barrowlands)
7. Peter Doherty (Barrowlands)
8. Eddy Grant (T'08)
9. Kings Of Leon (T'08)- Good performance they are definetly not Number 1 in the world but i made change my mind after seeing them headline.
Thats my top 9 but with T'09, Greenday at the SECC and hopefully a few more coming up later in the year it could all change.
