Really hope all 3 of your rumoured guesses are wrong! Not into any of them, have been to the last 9 Latitude’s and headliners I like used to be 2/3 but last couple of years down to one! This could be the first zero, hope other stage headliners are better. Can’t see why any of those 3 would be considered headline material!?!

For me, some of the bands that have headlined or rumoured to headline are not headline acts (yet). I think you have to be a really big fan and know all of there songs to really enjoy at least an hour and a half of a band that has done 2 albums.
Quite often I notice a lot of people leave after a few songs as the band are having to rely on playing album tracks that a lot of crowd do not know. An hour and a half is too long. I think bands playing for that amount of time need to have 3 or 4 albums or more of back catalogue to keep people interested.
Can't see why these bands 'on the up' get picked at this point?

What the fuck is happening .Am I the only one who thinks a "tour" means more than getting your arse of a sofa and depositing it a few hundred metres for a 2week run.
Talented she is undoubtedly and I've been a fan since day one.but as a fan north of Watford im thinking she is taking the piss .I think she's skint .
Yep first time getting the arse off the sofa since 1979 and now doing something and not just one night but lots. Maybe she thinks people may come to her after 35 years....

Been along to the festival 5 times before, and failed this year. I think of the bookings, they were from 4 different houses, in different parts of the country. I've never got through straight away or even within an hour, friends never seem to either. Do some of you always get through really quickly, and if so is that just luck? Or do you have tips or how to do so?

Stephen Paul Manderson is such a big fan of the top murder mystery board game Cluedo that he took his moniker from 2 of his favourite suspects 'Professor Plum' and 'Reverend Green' to conceive 'Professor Green'. His initial idea of naming himself 'Colonel Peacock' was turned down by his record company as it was deemed more 'jazz' than 'rap'.

Beck is playing in London (twice) and Cambridge the weekafter, doing his 'Songreader' book performed with guests at Barbican and then a couple of acoustic shows.

How about a woman who has played less than the 30 gigs ever, the last being in 1979 to headline?!
The woman is Kate Bush and she recently said she has not ruled out playing live again before she is too ancient. She certainly has the back catalogue and if she were too play would surely have to headline.
I'd guess this maybe the most unlikely of all the suggestions but you never know!

How do you fall into the long drops? He must have been skinny to fit through that hole!

I've not got round to getting this years yet, but surely will to complete the set.... I think if they waited a bit longer (rather than the Monday morning) they could make it bigger and more comprehensive, guess they won't though as they would not sell as many?
I'd like to see bigger reviews, loads of photos, set lists, interviews, maybe a free compilation cd of recordings from the festival!

Can I be the first person to start a Stone Roses reunion rumour for 2013?

This probably does not count but for the 2 people I helped out at different times (one boy and one girl). Whilst supping a pint of cider in big crowds watching bands, I was asked if I could give them my pint cup once finished as they needed it......

Bought this weeks NME on the way home from work (got it a day early!), in the opening bit by Micheal Eavis he quotes "And The Park stage secret acts? I can't say anything about those, but there's nothing bigger, I can tell you. I'm not saying anything else!"
About 20 people playing this year are asked 'What will be this year's big Glasto moment?' Guy Garveys reply is "Well the special guest will be a highlight." (note guest not guests...)
The above gives nothing away does it!? Except saying they will be big!?!

Thanks for that. That was the best set I had ever seen. I do not think I will see a better one.
