  1. Can anyone answer a hypothetical question please?

If you were to have a live in vehicle ticket and were staying in the campervan field but also happened to have an emperors ticket, how would you get into the emeperors field? Would you need to walk round to the main emperors gate and gain entry that way?

  2. So me and my wife are 90% sure we have bagged a Live in Vehicle ticket from someone I know. (We already have Thursday entry and Emperors to fall back on if not, we bought the van a few weeks after buying tickets)

If the guy comes through with the live in vehicle ticket then we would like to camp with a couple of mates who already have a live in ticket.

Does anyone know what are the chances of us being able to park next to each other? Is this something that could be arranged by contacting Kendal directly or can it be sorted on arrival.

    Help appreciated.

  3. One thing everyone's forgetting is that it still gets muddy around the toilet and sink areas even when its dry. Walking boots all the way for me.

  4. I have seen him loads in the ten years i have been going driving around mostly. In 2009 though we saw him next to Bez's acid house and my wife grabbed hold of his arm and wouldn't let go until she had told me. He looked a little scared.

  5. I get Glasto anxiety dreams every year. Had 2 already this week. They always revolve around our group pitching tents in the wrong place, me getting into arguments with my mates about it and the main stage being in a large valley that I cant access. And then its all over and we have to go home. Its exactly the same dream for the last 4 or 5 years.

  6. Think you'd all need to arrive and queue together to get space together. There's always a traffic queue to register, but once you've got wristbands you've got a right to roam in the main camping field. The better spaces obviously fill up first, but if you're pretty early friday and arrive together you should be ok without having to camp at the side of the loos. We are in the Emperors Fields, and arrive 10ish, queue for 1/2 hour or so, then have had a half empty field to set up in. The main field has bigger queues, and is much more tightly packed, so I would aim to get there earlier, but certainly when we were walking througn it lunchtimeish after setting up last year there were still plenty of gaps.

Cheers. We are gonna set off quite early so it sounds like we should be fine. Whats the walk like to the campsite. I cant imagine its as hellish as Glasto?

  7. Hi. Never been to Kendal before. Been to glasto and Leeds loads of times and was just wondering about what time to get there. 5 of us heading up Friday morning. Will we have trouble pitching a couple of tents next to each other ( we are on the traditional camping fields) obviously at glasto if you don't get there by Thursday night you're kinda screwed with regards to getting space next to each other. Responses appreciated.

  8. I'm seriously hoping the show at Jodrell Bank will give me the pick me up from my worst ever Glasto comedown. To think this time last week I had been there for two days already.
