  1. Alright u loser that a cheap pop! So what if I can't spell that well!!! I'm trying ok thought people were meant to be nice on here! Thought Glastonbury was about piece and love, in ur case not then. 

  2. I sent this To dx delivery yesterday

Hi can you please tell me when my Glastonbury tickets are going to arrive? I received an email on 28th May saying they had been sent but I still have not received them, nor have I received any missed delivery cards. I am leaving for glastonbury on Monday. I know I am not the only one in this situation many of my friends, who are also leaving Monday have not received their tickets, this cannot be an isolated incident as I am talking about at least 20 people.

your help in this matter is much appreciated.

    And got this back.

    Good morning,

Please be advised the service we offer is shown below, in your reply please advise your preferred delivery address and date.

    9 – 5 standard all day service

A signature and sight of your identification is required upon delivery (Valid UK Driving License, Valid Passport or a Valid Credit/Debit card)

Reply by 6pm for next day delivery

So I replied to rearrange for today and managed to get a day off work.

So sat here waiting today and thought I'm just gonna call and check that they are coming as I had a bad feeling. Only to be told we have your tickets but see tickets have req they get sent back to them so they can come royal mail special delivery. My friend told me she called about her tickets the other day and was told this but as I'd had direct contact with dx to rearrange I assumed this was only some tickets in some areas. So DX knowing this are still arranging delivery! So if you are sat at home still waiting it may be worth calling to find out!

On a happier note they should be here Friday...fingers crossed for us!

  3. Really sorry to hear your plight! If it's any consolation, a few years ago mine came just 4 days before the festival - that was when See were just using Royal Mail. Very convenient as you could just pick them up from your local post office if you were out. At least you won't have to wait in for DX to turn up - or not. Fingers crossed for you.

  4. Phoned See today to see where my tix have got to.

Apparently they were sent out 10 May to DX, who never got around to delivering them. See called the tickets back (a couple 1000 apparently) on 10 June and will be sending them out by Royal Mail Special Delivery as soon as they get them back from DX. If they still don't arrive then they can be picked up at the Gates, the guy I spoke to didnt fill me with confidence but he said that you can get them from the main entrance (from the coach station?), or any of the other Gates, where they just print them off.

I've had a bugger of a job trying to get through to See on the phone, getting stuck in automated system, but got through straight away on 0115 945 4951

Hope this helps for those folks who are still waiting for their tix!

Have a good one folks, don't think I'll be able to relax until my tix arrive....

  5. Now I know its likely most of you were not there ' but I was '

the worst rain was not in the 90's

and I quote ' This year was a muddy year with lots of bad weather. In fact, the highest rainfall for a single day in 45 years was recorded on the Friday '

    http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/history/1982/

then there was a very muddy one in 1985

    http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/history/1985/

I still don't know how I was able to get off the site without a pull.

Time will tell how good or bad this year will be as its impossible to predict at this time.

  6. There will always be people willing to deceive those who are wiling to be deceived. It's a rip off and wrong obviously, but those who buy them on an impulse without looking into whether you can get one from Seetickets or on the gate first are a bit silly.

  7. See Tickets...wot b****cks.

I was tracking my tickets and was expecting them on the 10th June, they were sent to DX on 9th. On the 10th See Tix called them back in because they though there was not enough time to deliver them (dear God...how long do they need???). According to DX I now have to pick them up from the site. Also means I don't now have a car parking ticket.

Can anybody tell me where I pick up tickets from? (I usually enter at Gate C, my guess is that it will be near the coach station, so that means a long walk for me now....).

Tried See, but constantly engagd, no surprise there...

Sorry if a thread like this has been posted already, searched but couldnt see one.

    See Tix...wot b*****cks...

    Thanks, Fran

  8. Thanks guys, but I am not reassured at all Neil, partly this is due to See's history of managing it all (from what I understand from the forum - personally I've never had any trouble), but also there are a couple of bits I didnt mention:

    1. I registered to buy tickets for three years from 2008, that means my registration should have expired. It hasnt according to you and See, so does that mean Im registered for four or more years? If so, they are messing up...ie I am registered for more than I am supposed to be.

    2. The guy on the phone said that his See intranet said that my registration had expired, but when he checked on the See external website, it was showing that it wasnt expired.

    3. Three people (including me) in my house are registered, but they registered later than me. Two of them have got 'buy ticket this weekend' email reminders, but I didnt.

    I didnt get a reminder = I'm not registered. Intranet = I'm not registered. Internet = I am registered.

I'm sure you can understand my confusion....

    Advice from See = re-register.

  9. Hi,

    Here's my story:

Registered in 2008 for three years, giving me opportunity to buy tickets in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Thought I'd check my registration status via Seetickets website and it said that my registration was valid until 31 July 2011.

Didnt trust that, so phoned up and they said that my registration expired in 2010, and the website was wrong.

    F**k.

So, my advice is that if you registered in 2008 and have been told that it is still valid...it isnt, and you must still re-register.

I got the guy at See (who was great) to speak to his supervisor so that they know about the problem, and I also spoke to Lucy at the Glastonbury Festival Office to bring it to their attention. Would hate to think that there are folks out there who think that they are registered and come T day they cannot buy tickets.

  10. good point, Park Stage is pretty good, although the line up is mostly unkowns and it's quite small, so it's never really going to have that anthemic atmosphere, no matter who's on.

I was really just thinking about the BIG show stages. V for example at Chelmsford is ok. but doesn't quite do it. The one at Stafordshire is a bit pants tbh.

But, then, I'm open to suggestions........

  11. I've tried to book my tickets but every time I try to confirm it, the page keeps saying the registration number has already payed a deposit but I haven't recieved an e mail. Anyone else having this problem??
  12. Just had a lovely chat with lovely lady at See, who was more than helpful, but also told me that they have new systems in place that were not coping at all; they can only queue 50-70 people at one time on the phones, and even then can't easily book people through into 'puters cause they are running so slow, or rather don't have much capacity. Hmmm...

She said that figures indicating huge quick sell outs are unlikely to be true as its all soooooo slow.

Anyway, got mine; so Im happy, and those still to get through, keep trying, seems like plenty will be available. x fingers for you.

  13. Hello folks.

How do you make sure you're still registered for tickets? I got signed up in 2008 and made sure the details were saved but asking Seetickets to find my registration gives me no joy - anyone else had this problem?

I have vague memories of a finite number of years this registration would last, but this is only the third year.

    What gives?
