The red bull prices were absolutely insane considering that you could go to the Coop on site and buy it for £1.60 a can

Those stall holders that were selling them for £4.50.  I hope hardly anyone was silly enough to buy any those ridiculously overpriced Red Bull cans.  That would serve them right.

On a similar note, I note from that poster of the price of drinks at that Lytham Festival.  £3.00 for a 250ml can of Rockstar!!!!  I like Rockstar drinks, but there's no way I'd pay those sort of prices.  Normally the price of these are £1.29 for 500ml cans!  At this festival, 500ml of Rockstar comes to 6 quid!!!  Absolutely INSANE!!!

  2. We're overdue a mudbath Glastonbury now I think!  Remind me, when was the last one?  Or are mudbath Glastonbury's a thing of the past that we may never see again?!

I haven't been to Glastonbury since 2011 now.  Thinking of trying for a ticket for next year.  Though knowing my luck, if I do go it could be a mudbath Glastonbury!

  3. For those who think this is too hot to be at a festival.   I remember going to the FIB Benicassism festival in Spain back in 2005 and 2006.  I think the festival duration was about 7 to 9 days if I recall correctly. Temperatures daily reached up to about 39C!  There were very few places on the site to get any shade!   Even in the mornings about 7am-ish it was still very hot.  And anyone in their tent would wake up drenched in sweat!   Though in the campsite there was the benefit of huge outdoor shower blocks(with about 50 shower posts) to cool off!

  4. I note that some stalls are selling 250ml cans of Red Bull for £4.50!!  Absolutely insane!  Not really much of a fan of Red Bull myself though.  I prefer Monster!  How much are these being sold for there?  I'm guessing they could be selling for as much as £5!

It's one of the things I hate about festivals.  Ridiculously overpriced food and drink!

  5. What are the prices of cans/bottles of soft drinks like there now?  Last time I was there in 2011 they were quite pricey then, about £2 for 330ml cans and about £3 for 500ml bottles!  And I remember one stall were selling 2 litre bottles with an RRP of £1.29(or something like that!) marked on the labels for £3!!  Prices in the onsite Co-Op were a fair bit cheaper, but can't remember their prices.
