Hope Saturday doesn't mean an Ian Brown and Club 75 clash think im the only one who's not going to see Leftfield

Can't wait to see the Monkey man again. Seen him when he was in the roses and as a solo artist and his vocals were very sketchy, but the man does have presence there's no denying that.
Saying that tho one of my m8's seen him in Edinburgh in December and she was blown away, he's now living a cleaner life and it shows in his singing. He also had rave reviews in the papers about the gig too so bring it on Mr Brown!

Had our 1st experience at Wickerman last year as part of our Honeymoon and had a superb time, the music was ace and the weather couldn't have been better. Hoping to go again this year...wait and see what the money situation is like. The Undertones would be the one to see for sure.
-
I really don't get them this year. Give me £100 and I will keep the damn thing up to date. It would take 5 minutes for somebody with very little computer knowledge to do. There is no excuse, just pathetic in my view. It took them what, 12 hours to change 3 acts?! lol

Booooo hissssss!

Just checked myspace and Deadmau5 is in moscow on the sat nite and Vitalic is playing in Brussels? So i dunno possibly helicopter them in?
-
It's a doubled edged sword in my view-The Prodigy, Erol Alkan, Subculture and Deadmau5 clashing ffs! Sad times, real sad times! What a spoilt brat haha
-
Nope i never got that either! Would be superb tho!

Whatever everybody’s personal feelings are about it, it is bad business practice. There will be people that will have the choice to go to 1 of several festivals. The line-up to them will be very, very important so the longer you put it off the more chance these people will go elsewhere.
-
seen as Placebo are a headline act and they will get a longer slot will they play Running Up That Hill? In my opinion its the best cover ever
-
That's all that matters though, its completely subjective. I would rather watch 45 minutes of Japanese Popstars than 3 hours of Oasis etc but the majority of people would disagree with me. To me thats better value because I'd actually enjoy it.
Although I do agree with there being a lack of geniune big acts.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Pigeons, they are a good band. The line up does seem to be lacking something.....there's defo more dance acts than indie....so i'm sure it wouldn't do any harm to slip a few indie bands into the line up! Anyone heard if and when any other acts are getting announced?
-
Cheers for that
But looks like a lot more to be announced!!!

Couldn't have put it better myself! Hooorah! Get on the case ROCKNESS!
-
Yeah they're on a completely different spectrum. I would love to see Biffy tho, just hope too many of the acts i wanna see don't clash...but hey ho wot can ya do?

Not from where I'm standing.

Shed Seven are playing on the Friday

Loving the new album right back on form. Really looking forward to seeing them, not seen them since T 1997 or 1998 can't mind.

They do have a gap in their tour dates for Rockness so maybe? They play at the Ironworks a lot too....fingers crossed! Will be good for a sing song anyways.
-
obviously not everybody's cup of tea....but they are one of the biggest selling tributes in the UK and do actually sound better than THE Stone Roses live...i have seen both so can compare! They play a lot of the festivals as a filler band. The line up does need bulked out a bit so they are a good addition. Altho we could do with some BIGGER named bands too! Suggestions anyone?
