  1. Perhaps then, the facilities are inadequate everywhere. I would have paid more for a level pitch and decent facilities, I'm sure many would.

I appreciate that, but I would like better. Is it somehow wrong to say that? Hey, Eavis, give us better campsites and we'll pay more.

  2. I would drive down with all his gear, let him go on the coach without having to lug anything other than a few cans for the journey, and then meet up in a car park somewhere. He'll have a great time :-)

It would make it far easier on the way home too.

  3. Traffic is bad no matter which direction you approach from, they're tiny little country lanes not designed for the amount of traffic!

Head for the carpark nearest where you want to park, carting all your atuff across site is pointless, and you've not guarantee the traffic will be any better from another carpark anyway

  4. I think if you tell them in advance it'll fine fine, as far as I know they only blacklist people who take the tickets but don't show for their shift - things change all the time and it's not like you're actually trying to use the ticket they're offering you

You may get some of your deposit back but then you may find your blacklisted { if it is after the official deadline } and really you have only yourself to blame.

No future employer is going to blame you if you are up front and say - look I have already applied and been accepted for a place and then say you can work with them in 2013.

Or at the very least be up front with the litterpicking Charity and say look I am willing to stick with you but I have been offered this job and then leave it to item to decide.

I know that its very old fashioned but sometimes Honesty is the best policy

  5. I saw her live in Manchester a couple of months ago, she was fantastic!! I'm really looking forward to seeing her on the Avalon, hope she doesn't clash with anyone, I guess she could easily have been on one of the bigger stages but that's what I like about Glastonbury, sometimes the way things are planned out take you a little bit by surprise :)
