  1. Just wear something comfortable but definetaly bring wellies. Ok, the weather might be forcasted good, but you can never tell. It poured down all day and night on the Saturday last year and the campsite was a mud bath and the stalls selling wellies increased their prices a LOT so be warned.

  2. Didn't see any trouble last year, although you have to remember that it is a festival after all so the campsite will be rowdy all night - don't be expecting a good night's kip! Everyone was cool in the campsite last year (although they were all mental!) but did see a group of young lasses heading off early because the people next to them wrecked their tent.

  3. I only saw dogs on the main arena entrances last year. Seen a few people get busted but didn't see what happened to them. They had amnisty bins all around the place last year so even if you did get caught and say you'll bin it there and then I wouldn't see why they wouldn't let you in.

  4. If it's your first ever time at any festival, I wouldn't be stocking up a huge drug shopping list. Just take it easy and take the essentials such as money, ID, tent, booze, camera, phone, wellies (if anything like last year you WILL need these!) etc

  5. Hey Perratt,

I can't really answer your questions regarding the shuttle bus return times, but I'm pretty sure they run from Lime Street to the Creamfields site and vice-versa every 30 minutes.

Lime Street station is a little distance rom the site. I got the shuttle bus last year and it did feel like a bit of a journey on the way there. Of course you have to remember that traffic was chaos around the site so that did slow us down a lot.

One thing to take note, when coming out of Lime Street station, go down the steps and take a RIGHT. The shuttle buses and bus kiosks are located along there - don't follow the crowds! lol They will lead you astray like they did with me last year

    Hope this helps!

  6. You're allowed to bring as much drink into the campsite as you want although they don't allow you to bring it into the arena, which I thought was shit when I walked up to the gate with a crate.

  7. Heya, thinking of going to creamfields this year with a couple of friends.

We are only 16/17 think we would have fun ?

Is it worth traveling all the way from inverness to go?

We only ever have been to Rockness, Belladrum + loopallu before

but the line up looks amazing!

  8. Booking our tickets at the end of this month when payday comes.

On the site it says that the camping area is located sepratey, how far away from the stage(s) is it?

Can you take your own tent and not have to pay anything else other than the ticket?

Can you only camp in the 'camping areas' within the Creamfields site as im sure a mate of mine said they took their own las year and could see the stage from where they camped?

    Cheers.

  9. In the past two years I've been it's been friendly. 2007 (my first time at Creamfields) the atmosphere and the people were fantastic, talked cod shit to everyone all night and didn't see one bit of trouble.

I noticed a slight change in the atmosphere in 2008 (maybe that's because the festival had a huge revamp with two days etc) but I still thought it was pleasant and everyone was nice enough, although spoke to quite a few people who had bad experiences, but you'll get that anywhere you go.

  10. Did anyone else see the "No Smoking" signs on the entrances to the arena tents this year ? Are they having a laugh or what? The smoking ban was in place when Creamfields fell last year and there was no problem with smoking but this year there seemed to be.

I mean everyone was smoking still in the tents anyway but what a joke.
