Have Hard-Fi had a mention? Staines 3rd biggest export after Ali-G and lino (Not lionel, lino the cheap plastic stuff you put on your kitchen floor)
As a suggestion in this thread... Hard to beat.

Oy, less of that please Mr Casual or I'll get the R*vers fan to poke you with all twelve of his fingers.
An inbred Sheed making an inbred joke?!
Behave yourself and get back to your sister...

Biggles and Mad Dog on the bandstand - both a must.

There is a 24 hour Asda in Bedminster which is probably the closest to temple meads... About 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi.

Yup, the main differences are the shape (tipi pointed and wigwam domed), the portability (tipi fully portable, wigwam usually permanent or semi-permanent and often left behind if the inhabitants move on), and also the areas they are found. The tipi is more common on the Great Plains, and the wigwam (or wikiup) is particularly common in the Northeast.
You mean these b*stards don't take their tent with them when they leave?!
What happened to love the farm?

Yeah tell me about it, over £700 for me and my misses (ticket price plus WV cost), plus petrol at approx. £50, it didn't come cheap, but there is only so much you can take before you decide you have had enough and I reached that point on Saturday morning.

What a waste of a ticket.

Watching on TV sucks. Sucks balls.

It was definitely outside. Pissing it down it was.
"Put the umbrellas down!", was the chant.

Saw these guys playing in Bristol last weekend and the dance song section was pretty awesome live. Hope they turn up somewhere.

Simply Red one of the best bands to happen for the last five years?! Blimey when people say it was better back then need to be shot!

Bollock naked hot tub action in the Thursday afternoon drizzle. Brilliant.

Had a severely good curry goat near the blues opposite the coconut water stall... Only £6 too.
Also sampled crayfish boil, Goan fish curry and pulled pork as other notable exceptions.
People who do greasy burgers and chips are missing out. Ooo also had a pancake breakfast too at the beat hotel.

I'm gonna roll with something along the lines of (bearing in mind architectural vocation):
Off on a weeks leave to study the cultural implications of temporary architecture on a spectrum of society in Somerset.
Either that or getting bent out of shape listening to some of the best bands in the sunshine.

Got lots of Brothers festy strength from B&M in the last week for £7 for 12 cans (440ml). In fact I got them for a fiver as they were selling 330ml x 12 for a fiver yet the staff couldn't comprehend two offers.
Ended up with 120 cans for £60! Was still on on the weekend.
Ps not strictly beer so...

Just fall asleep when you want during the day. In the past this has led to:
Having a nap on Thursday evening before Beardyman and waking up after killing Michael Jackson... Tough few hours that.
Falling asleep in a tent near the park and waking up to a gig which was awesome... Dan Mangan and I will remember to this day!
There is nothing wrong with any of this... Embrace the sleep then get on with your day.

Mad Dog McCrae... South West heroes Mumford and Sons wish they were as good as.
-
Will have to round up the Bristol contingent of England's Barmy Army again... We made that pitch feel like Galatasaray for ROW!

Were gonna pile on the keeper... Again.

Can we have zig zag queues with overpriced vending machines and different themed paraphernalia at each gate? With electronic signage every 100 yards too?
Ooo and gas track tickets for the more affluent. That will do it.

Do you know what f**k it. I have had enough. It's March. I want to be wearing my shorts in March and enjoying later, warmer evenings. This current winter overspill is just grade A balony and I can only conclude that we are due to avoid the trend of recent early heat waves in April - postponed till June?
Green Man Festival 2017
in other UK festivals
Posted
Afternoon all. Thinking of giving Green Man a go this year and see that tickets are out next week.
Is it a bun fight or is there a bit of time to think about it? Do you know rough prices of the festival, I can't find out the information anywhere at the moment.
Any hints, tips or recommendations gratefully received!
