just got back from last nights gig. wellies are a must, and if you can, smuggle a few cans down them as they dont check them. getting a beer is okay early on but does get busy as the night goes on...... waiting for a pee (for the ladies) go to the back of the arena as the queues are not as bad. For the people travelling by bus, beware of the park and ride situation as it is a nightmare. But the gig was immense!

Can anyone attending today please clarify the situation inside the park as to whether there's arena, whether it's first come first served to get wristbands, etc., etc...

Hi, I thought I would give this a shot, so here goes. I lost my red Nikon cool pix s3100, maybe in the golden voice tent over the weekend. To be honest, Im not bothered about the camera as it can be replaced, I'm only interested in the memory stick within the camera. If anyone has found it could they pm me or if anyone can offer me guidance who to contact if in the iff chance that it has been handed in.

I was lucky to go to the last rez and went to a few judgement days (nothing compared of what the rez was like) pissed off the tents were pulled cos of insurance problems (if i remember correctly). Up for a wee wander in, to get a blast from the past

Anyone ever notice how, whenever Placebo play, something disastrous happens to another band, sometimes even on the same day they play? Let's look at the years they've played and what happened:
1996: Stone Roses put in a shit performance and break up as a result.
2000: Daphne And Celeste get bottled, same day Placebo play.
2003: Good Charlotte get bottled.
2004: The Rasmus and 50 Cent get bottled, same day Placebo play.
2006: My Chemical Romance get bottled, same day Placebo play. Also, singer of Panic At The Disco gets KOed by a glass bottle.
2009: Kings Of Leon singer Caleb Followill throws a massive tantrum and destroys his guitar, same day Placebo play.
So basically if you want your band to play Reading, make sure Placebo aren't playing before you sign that contract.

i saw the glasto coverage, and there was obviously a recording being played behind them, as during one of their tunes a guitar could be heard, but not seen.

To the fact that they are awful. You might as well listen to their cd, as virtually none of it is actually played live.
