Have scanned this thread and couldn't see it mentioned so forgive me if I've missed it but what time do the acts start at Sziget? Is it quite late like Exit or a lot earlier in the day like UK festivals?

So how many of the announced bands do you think we have as headliners?
i think winehouse, pulp, chemical bros...kasabian? they were just below muse last year so you never know, could be another headliner or two yet...
or is my dream of the strokes at sziget over?

rumours...check the frequency line up...they often share a few headliners.
foo fighters and chemical brothers both pretty likely i reckon.
Personally i'm hoping for arcade fire, the strokes and coldplay, with fleet foxes, elbow, beirut and bright eyes lower on the bill.

put right off by the previous setlists.
seriously, only playing one song from the first three albums...that's terrible.
blackened sky and vertigo of bliss are amazing.
but sadly i'm not totally arsed about seeing them this year because i know they'll play shit liek captain and many of horror, which you would hear playing at mcdonalds and asda and shit- i mean, is there any more obvious sign of a band's downfall??

I think our only slight hope is the suspicious gap in the tour dates around reading. But there isn't anywhere left for them to play unless they are slipped in somewhere.

I have 4 extra too! I don't mind which I go to but gotta get rid of the other four. People keep asking me if they can buy them which would be great but I'm trying to find out if I'm allowed to do this?? Won't the tickets be in my name????

i kno wall about the over-playing of florence.
tis a hell of a shame.
but she's still ace- the album as you know has many great songs that weren't singles.
vampire weekend yes i saw them last year but that's part of the reason i want to see them again- i loved it. plus, they've released contra since so you know they at least have some new stuff to play!

I'd imagine Cribs will be Main Stage as they headlined the NME 2 years ago so I doubt they'd drop a place.

my fingers are crossed for the strokes, fleet foxes, bright eyes, the walkmen or vampire weekend for sziget 2010. wouldn't mind arcade fire either! that's my wishlist sziget boys, now don't let me down this time.

sziget and frquency had almost identical lineups last year. theyre held at almost exactly the same time (or were last year) and are geographically relatively close. There's hope for Radiohead's return. Would be fantastic. Sadly, no sziget for me this year, after going to the last three!
The lineup so far has nothing for me this year, but still can't imagine a better festival.

Hey i might be intrested to going to Sziget this year, just a few questions...
- The fest is advertsied at 12th-17th August, so is the 12th the day you can get there and 17th the day you leave? (NVM JUST SEEN FAQ OF WEBSITE FOR THIS ONE)
- What's the cheapest way to get there?
- How easy is the festival to get to from Budapest? (And why haven't Ryanair released their flight info yet?
)- When is lineup normally released?
- What are food/drink prices like inside the festy?
