I got confirmation screen but no 3d secure page - has anyone had this?

Yeah but I bet he's only into bland music

The deposit system was designed to make it more affordable to people. If anything, it increases demand

Interesting feedback on this post... the BNP guys were most certainly not just skinheads sadly, I love you guys! Their 'site' was cordoned off with England flags and a big central England flag took pride of place, not really my thing but I was prepared to just accept they might be very proud of their heritage until I saw one of them drunkenly waving a mini BNP flag and voicing some fairly disturbing views... but then again considering this country has allowed them seats in this year's elections perhaps this is the future? Scary.

Just been going around the different major festivals boards, and there seems to be general admiration for the festival, with the comment of "Might try Glasto instead next year" following.
In terms of last year, its been quicker and its been slower. 08 restored a lot of confidence. I have a feeling 09 is being portrayed as a big success, and coupled with evident failings of the other major festivals, 2010 could see a return to the tickets selling out within hours scenario

I quite enjoyed it. I like a lot of his stuff, and I expected a good, energetic show, which I got. It wasn't one of the best live performances I've seen, but then, I wasn't expecting anything magical.
I find the whole "debate" on this a lot more interesting than the actual show. Haha.

I'm considering the Small World festival in August.

I reckon he does believe that Springsteen was bland, but after seeing the reaction he got when he said it he must have thought he would carry on so to keep up traffic. Otherwise he wouldn't be acting so god damn thick!

you are totally right it is trolling to cause people to froth at the mouth and reply in anger
i remember back in december or january when bruce was about to be confirmed neil was all up for it then but has since sounded like a madman on meths
i think it is quite funny and rather sad in a way
i knew he was trolling when he said 3 minutes was enough for him and he wasnt even singing one of his own songs at the time

I'm trying to decide whether this eFestivals chap is really this far gone or this is just an attempt to keep up traffic post festival.
Thoughts anyone?

Two things, I think.
1. I *think* I left an almost-empty can of cider on the ground after Nick Clegg in the Speakers' Tent. I put it down to walk to the mike to ask a question and then sat a few feet away and didn't even remember till half an hour later. For that I apologise to whoever had to pick it up.
2. We woke up someone up at 5:30 am on Monday morning while packing up to leave. Though the fact that he proceeded to swear makes me feel much less guilty about it.

I was surrounded by people waiting for Blur as well. They all started warming to them after a while though. :-)
We call upon the author and The weeping song in particular were absolutely amazing!

It should be 5.2pt, slightly less if your printer needs large margins. I haven't checked recently but I think it's about the same size as the text in the guide.

Cheers!
Was just wondering, because, obviously, when you're looking at the PDF you need to zoom in to read it.

He's following Khaled, I just realised. That means I'll be there anyway. :-)
The universe wants me to see him.
-
I really want to see him, but Nick Cave comes first. I might catch what I can before wandering off to get to the Pyramid in time.

Clearly WoW is the pillar of strength that keeps this place from collapsing into a pile of fear of anger.
It's all fallen to bits since he left.

George Galloway, splashing through the mud in '05.

I was so lucky that 2003 was my first glasto so I know how great it can be in the sunshine, if my first had been 2007 (like a couple of my friends) I don't know how inclined I'd be to go back...

I *think* they are just different possible outcomes, i.e. different models predicting whats going to happen
-
Yeah - it was NYC Downlow. I refused to pay and didn't go in. I understand that it was for charity, but I think it's ridiculous that there's a part of the festival that demands payment.
Will they be ticketing the pyramid field next year?

yep...awful..just awful
i really dont want to go through that again...

We did this last year, going across to pick someone up from Glasgow first. Left late on Tuesday night. It was alright till Bristol for breakfast, but then it slowed down to about walking pace. Hopefully you'll avoid it with your Tuesday evening plan.
