Yes 2 queues merging. Once we crossed the road it was an hour. It's not queue all the way, they stagger you. All bags are checked some more than others. Our trolley was allowed to keep it's tape on. Our neighbours arrived hours after us was directed to gate c and was in before us. Oh well we're in now and so will you be soon. Hang in there.

After crossing there was about 100 meters of open space. Then stand still/move 1 meter every, 5 minutes. Can see the sign now 100 m away. Been at stand still since 8 or so. Saw them remove tables a while ago. Either they gave up searching or just moved nearer gate.

Not advocating this but the left lane joins the main lane as we cross the road

400 meters from security. Gate no idea. We moved again just now. Anyone up front know if gates are open yet, are we being squeezed in with you lot in the pen.

We just moved 20 or so closer to security check. Ice-cream van is near opening of where we are. Unless there's more than one of course

Car park queue moving now, we're still not. Let's say gates open at 6:30, go on...

The section just before security just 'stood up', no more movement after that.

Pretty sure if you've been searched you're done. At gate B they've done what they can for the night it seems. So if you're through that, the next step is wristband and then... Exhale..

The section before security check is full, 3-400 meters. They have lined people up in the car park. At the moment 100-200 meters long. I would get down here quick if you can.

At gate B the sign said First Entry, but ok that doesn't necessarily mean anything with regard to security.

OK just spoke to one of the stewards. We're currently 200 meters from security check point, no more searches tonight. He reckoned there's about 1000 punters in the holding pen (already searched). Told us we won't move till 8 or just before.

Just got here. Getting busy. Saw a first entry gate, but only after deciding to bring everything in one go. Seems like we're waiting to be searched and perhaps moved or?

You reckon we can park in blue? Should be there in 3-4 hours?

This was asked by someone in a different thread, worth repeating. Do we think gates will open early? What time did they open last year?

Do you reckon 2nd trippers need to join the same queue as new arrivers? I guess the search is separate from wrist bands. How about trolleys vs no trolleys? debating whether to bring trolley on first trip or not?
